Dude, you are my new favorite channel. I love your enthusiasm. You are equally excited about fishing in a ditch for bass as you are being on your boat fishing for the "desirable" species. Just watching your love of all things fishing never gets old!
I can see why the electric power pull is (I don't know what it is called) a great tool to help out with getting fish that are caught back to the top. Helps out with fisherman's backs.
Love the videos, love watching other people fish. You always pick up on something new. Quick tip, don’t touch the fish off the sabiki, they will last longer in the live well. Where do you fish out of?
you guys totally rock and it's a blast watching you work, but i'm wondering about dumping those ajs back in the drink? it's my impression (and i'm probably wrong here) that those ambers are what is known in the sushi trade as yellow tail...as fine an eating sushi or sashimi as was ever spawned. do yall not eat cut bait? or am I just rongue? it took me a bunch of saki the first time I tried it but it's some good eating and pricey in the restaurants. have you ever tried it raw w a little tamari and wasabi? thanx and keep up the great work
Amazing Video mate. i can see it is Shimano Bait Runner but Is it 6000 or 8000? What braid do you use also pls? And what size? I have Shimano Bait runner 4000 not sure if i should upgrade for beach fishing.
Yo Brant, thanks for the videos. Lots of fun to watch. As a kind suggestion to make your videos more useful, if you can please share more technical info such as to the line you’re using in each reel, leader, no leader, knots, weights etc. Reel brand, model etc. Also if you have other lines on top, what are they and how is that set up different from the bottom rigs. Some videos you give us a bit more detail, others you don’t. I’m grateful regardless and thank again. It’s just a friendly tip to make tour videos a bit more educational.TRYING TO LEARN FROM PROS. I'd still really like to go out in the gulf and drop down with my custom Anvil 8' heavy rod with my big trolling reel with 80 lb braid and land a nice fish on it. I bought the rig back in August of last year and the rod is an absolute beast, but I haven't been able to get into a decent flathead with it yet.
@@chuckw4254 thx but I meant the live bait caught by the sabiki rig. He had used a knocker rig but couldn't see if he hooked it by the anal fin or the upper dorsal fin.
Don't complain about your regulations. Unfortunately without regulations you'd never get a chance to see a lot of species of adult size and a bunch more that are completely fished out, especially the ones that taste good. I used to moan about the regs too especially flounder in North Carolina because there's tons of little guys but tough to get a keeper, but after living in Indonesia for ten years and seeing how poor the fishing is compared to the potential habitat it's made me appreciate some regulations
Red snapper was in season in Florida for one month in 2019 Mid June to Mid July. A 2020 season has not been set yet, but a six weeks long season is proposed.
When catching bait lower the drag most of time you loose fish is because you rip the hook out there mouth and use a de hooker next time very useful tool not only for baitfish
You can't keep a red snapper? When did that law come about? Last time I fished in Key West I must've caught 50 of them right off the boardwalk off of chunks of ballyhoo. I mean, that was back in the mid 90s, but I've never heard that you can't keep them.
Love your vids but WHY do you keep throwing back the amberjack ? They are good eating! You've done a catch clean and cook and I don't understand why you don't capitalize on that, I have a family of 7 who would have loved to eat that fish

Travis Christians 👍
Great vid man. Makes me want to get in the truck and drive south!
why can't you keep snappers in fl? i think im moving to florida.. tired of california and the snow.

What's the reason that FL State prohibits taking red snapper? Was it not the season?
Great morning on the water man 🦈 🎣
Obviously not looking for numbers but where do you fish? What inlet are you out of? I recently came across ur vids. Keep it up...
Why is it in the State of Florida that you can't catch a red snapper or is it seasonal?
Great video man.....how did you hold your position over the wreck?
Why are you keeping the spool open when your using a bait runner?
Watching fronm the Nederlands nice vid Love the aj nice fight and good taste caught them in bonaire
What pound line do you have on your reel
Cool video 👍👍
Tell why you don't use hands off-hook release on the bait, so they last long?
What weight class rod are you using?
Awesome video.
What up my dude!!! From SoCal 😎
Bait you can eat. It’s a win win situation.
Great vid man...
Does cameraman Ron do charters?
Does Brian have a you tube channel?

Do you ever fish around for pickens. I have caught a lot there
I got skunked last time I fished there ☹️ beautiful spot tho I need to go back
@Wensley Michel no fish. Skunked, blanked, empty handed, I suck at fishing, whatever you wanna call it 🤣
How did you hook the first live bait?
Sabichi rig. Bare shiny hooks. I have seen them hit scales drifting down in the water actually.
@@chuckw4254 thx but I meant the live bait caught by the sabiki rig.
He had used a knocker rig but couldn't see if he hooked it by the anal fin or the upper dorsal fin.
Dude, I could be mistaken but that last fish looked like HUGE Almaco.

The Amber Jack did: Peace out bitches.
Great video
Literally keep Binge watching content 😂

Yeah kinda counter productive turning live bait into dead bait in a bucket of warm water lol.
I still don't understand why they protect red snapper. The last time I dove I saw thousands of them.
Amberjacks not good to eat?
Yes, properly handled, they are. He wasn't fishing to eat, he was making video.
Teach me your ways masta
You should go out for Goliath Grouper!

Yep, locked down hard on red snapper. They opened them up for only a couple weekends last summer.
Tons of red snapper here in SC , to bad you cant pay for tags or something
Been saying that for years , could really generate revenue
Try with blue crab for panpanos
The reef donkeys are always hungry.
You should fish with blacktipH
Got a save those reds for commercial fishermen, us comes fishermen don’t need to catch and keep reds.
fresh is best
brian is a lawyer isnt he?
That is definitely a sardine not a herring scaled sardine look it up
Why can’t you keep red snapper in Florida those are the best eating fish ever, here in Texas we eat the heck out of them
Closed season.
Sick!

Arron Orr they are out of season on the gulf
Arron Orr I cant keep illegal fish brother.
They are out of season if you keep them you can get a big fine and have to pay a lot of money
Its illegal to keep them in the gulf right now. Atlantic their open year round
Ok got it I'm on the Atlantic side still like it all
Don't you keep any fish to bring home to eat
"This is a back breaker" Gotta love and hate those AJ's
Need bigger rods 🤣
Why the fuck are red snappers regulated so much they say there endangered but sounds like a lie to me
You keep saying you can't keep red snapper.......... you might be confusing non fishers. You just can't keep them "at this time".
Why don't you keep and cook
zippy the old hippy illegal
Aleve cold and flu.
He's just got back on the water from being sick with the flu. He's getting there.
I bet your gonna get a good sleep
Not one damn keeper the whole day🤔
jay johnson If I’m hungry I go to the grocery store. I go fishing to create content for you guys to watch.
Aj is delicious
Is that an African?!?!?!?!? 🤦🏾♂️
Pompano
Dude awesome trip, but don’t over do it. You still sound awful
I hope you didn't pay for that trip cuz you damn sure didn't keep anything that you could eat
