- I am a huge fan of the EGO product line of tools. In this video I'm reviewing my EGO Power + String Trimmer. I talk about and demonstrate every feature. Timestamps for the video are as follows:

Another awesome review! My battery string trimmer was my first intro into battery powered outdoor lawn tools and I would never go back to gas. They're quiet, lightweight, super low maintenance, and those old two-stroke engines are massive polluters, in aggregate a bigger source of air pollution than all cars, which is really wild when you factor in that millions aren't commuting to work every morning on a weed whacker.
That system for adding new string looks just brilliant though and makes me jealous I have a different brand. I always have to watch a UA-cam video when refilling string.
Great editorial video!! OMG…..you directly addressed many of my major concerns ie changing the cord (I really hated changing my old gas powered weed whacker spool) or the capability to really use it as an edger!! I will definitely go buy one based on your editorial and other sources! Thank you so very very much!!

Great review. I wish I got an electric one. 4 years ago I bought a 2 stroke echo. My echo has the same type of string head. It loads the same way yours does. That was the seeking feature for me.
