Thank you so much for highlighting the Orlando food scene! We have so many amazing places here and the food scene is definitely underrated. Please check out Susuru, JuJu, BBB Tofu House, Korea House and Ramen Takagi next time also!
You should’ve tried the fried shishito peppers at Domu. It’s to die for… and the sauce they come doused in; amazing. I always order it with a side of rice to soak up the sauce.
You missed the wings at Domu, best wings in Orlando. The dumplings in Zaru are delicious but the other 3 appetizers are even better. My favorite one is the grilled chicken one. For anyone wanting a chicken sandwich instead of the biscuit at swine and sons, try out Jamz Hot, best fried chicken sandwich in Orlando, by far. And for dessert, right across from Zaru and Tori Tori, ice cream at Sampaguita.
I'm so glad Mikey is showcasing our Orlando Michelin restaurants! However, he missed on the best part of Domu! You cant go there without trying the Domu kimchi butter Korean fried chicken wings.
More Lao Food Please! Don't forget the sticky rice. Sticky rice goes with almost every meal in Lao cuisine. what the baguette is to French cuisine sticky rice is to Lao cuisine.
You telling me I had the chance to honk at Mike Chen on the road and I missed it? Damn. Also disappointed he didn’t stop to get some desert at Sampaguita since he was already over there
i’ve had the Crabby Patty at Domu and it truly is so good. The ramen there is good too as well. Tori Tori is always at capacity anytime i’ve tried to sit and eat and i’ve heard nothing but great reviews. I’ll be adding sticky rice to my list of places to try . Born and raised in Orlando , it’s nice to see creators share our gems in the city.
Any Ramen Lover in Orlando knows the only place to really go is Ramen Takagi off of Aloma. They also won "Ramen Rumble 6" here in Orlando (seriously look it up). When I miss TRUE Japanese Ramen, I go there for my fix.
Sticky Rice, Domu and Tori Tori getting some love make me happy! All these places are so damn good. The lemongrass beef jerky at Sticky Rice is my favorite too!
More reason for me to head to Orlando someday! Sticky Rice in particular got my attention because I've not yet had Laotian food in my lifetime. Must try!
Hey, what are the names of the restaurants you visited? I don't see them in the description, and want to check these out since I'm heading to Orlando next week.
I could be wrong, but I believe these were the restaurants: 1. Swine and Sons - 1280 Orange Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789 2. Zaru - 1110 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 3. Tori Tori - 720 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL 32803 4. Domu - 3201 Corrine Dr Ste 100, Orlando, FL 32803 5. Sticky Rice - 1915 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803
The crab rice will definitely taste good with the soft shell crab! We definitely will try Tori Tori. I live in Orlando and never heard of these restaurants. I live behind Magic Kingdom in Windermere.
Omg welcome back to Orlando!! I strongly suggest jinya ramen and susuru izakaya (by far the most authentic izakaya experience I've found so far in America)
Next time you go to Domu you need to try their kimchi chicken wings! They've been awarded best chicken wings in Central Florida for several years in a row
I get that at the first place, that was a mash-up of shakshuka and avocado toast, but it seems to me there was no need for the avocado on it. I'd go for shakshuka toast if it was just shakshuka on toast. I love avocado, just not on toast.
My man....how you go to Domu and don't get the wings is wild to me, lol. I really didn't know that was possible, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed our city, though!
Too much going on that toast. Shashuka is nice by itself. The Udon noodles were amazing looking, the yakatori place was on point. The ramen I could eat all day everyday. Right on Orlando!
Uhh body language and facial expression says otherwise. Swaying the head side to side is actually more positive than up and down. Indicates that something is so good it's unbelievable.

Some of my friends in a local foodie group in Orlando on fb saw you and took pics it was so cool!!! Some of our favorite spots!
You should’ve tried the fried shishito peppers at Domu. It’s to die for… and the sauce they come doused in; amazing. I always order it with a side of rice to soak up the sauce.
Sticky Rice's yellow curry chicken rice bowl and lemongrass beef jerky are the BEST
Tori Tori is FIRE! Insane food, nightlife as well.
Orlando resident. Tori Tori has THE BEST crab fried rice I've ever had

Gonna have to disagree on the chicken sandwich. Chicken Fire is better imo. But you won't be disappointed either way
The Richie Rich is hands down THE BEST ramen at Domu. My favorite Asian place in Orlando. I go probably once a month ❤
I'm so glad Mikey is showcasing our Orlando Michelin restaurants! However, he missed on the best part of Domu! You cant go there without trying the Domu kimchi butter Korean fried chicken wings.
Facts
The bites at Domu Chibi also insanely good, so crispy even under the sauce, it's an addictive combo. Love that place!
Going there this weekend 😊
That biscuit looked like it had been sitting on the counter for weeks… Tori Tori looked 🔥🔥🔥!!!
Thought your eyes were going to pop out of your head when you tasted the pork belly!! Love, love, love sticky rice!

Tori Tori: you have to do the fried chicken with the fried rice. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
OMG, you just hit all my favorite spots. Just had Sticky Rice yesterday.

Omg welcome back to Orlando!! I strongly suggest jinya ramen and susuru izakaya (by far the most authentic izakaya experience I've found so far in America)
If you’re ever back in Orlando, I can’t recommend Se7en Bites over in the Milk District enough, place is SLAMMIN!
That biscuit looked dry as dirt😵
I will try the next time I hit up Orlando
ive tried the biscuits in New York a couple of weeks ago. They were so dry.first time ive tried them. im from UK
Go to Tennessee. You’ll get better biscuits in the south !😊
Glad you tried some of my favorite restaurants in Orlando! Such great food in this city and very underrated.
I love UDON!!!! Looked amazing!
Next time you go to Domu you need to try their kimchi chicken wings! They've been awarded best chicken wings in Central Florida for several years in a row

You should try Hawkers on Mills next!
I agree. We have a family with lots of allergies and they always go out of their way for us.

mikey was in orlando and i didn’t know 😢 my idol
Shakshuka toast...what a unique dish! Looked really yummy! Also, that dumpling skirt was so pretty I'd vote for her as prom queen 😆😋
The restaurants aren't listed, or am I missing them?
They are not, for some reason.
Maybe he had to pay?
I get that at the first place, that was a mash-up of shakshuka and avocado toast, but it seems to me there was no need for the avocado on it. I'd go for shakshuka toast if it was just shakshuka on toast. I love avocado, just not on toast.
My hometown! I’ve been to all of these places
Hi from Scotland hope you're all safe and well my friends 🏴👍😉✌️🏴 looks delicious Chen Mmmmm lol
Oh man, this made me sooo hungry! Found Sticky Rice on UberEats, waiting for the order now. Ordered everything Mikey had. Stomach growling…
Sticky rice goes with everything 💯💯💯💯
Domu is my neighborhood! Their brûlee egg is life!!

Shashuka is nice by itself.

Always wondered were Mikey’s wife’s been ….i like when she used to be on this….
Apparently she no longer wants to be on camera. She is there still alot.
Mikey! I'm so glad you've discovered crispy chickpeas🎉
You Dipped The Noodles To Deep My Friend
What was that first place with the chicken biscuit?
Are you coming to Tampa next Mike?
Mikey you gotta try gyu kaku! It’s me and my wife’s favorite place in Orlando, it’s happened bbq and it is delicious
that ring is looking to escape
Mike, when did you get married?! Congrats!
What's the name of the breakfast place, the first one?
I hope after domu you went nextdoor to gideon's bakehouse, I never go to Disney springs because this one is so convenient and fast
If I was deaf, I would think you really don't like the food because you keep shaking your head as if you're saying no after each bite.
Good thing we have auto captions and good thing you are not deaf.
That is so true. Good observation, although I believe Subtitles are available. 👍
Body language says it all
When I see that body language it translates to.. "Damn that's good". I do tend to assume positive before negative though.
Uhh body language and facial expression says otherwise. Swaying the head side to side is actually more positive than up and down. Indicates that something is so good it's unbelievable.
Couldn't put Domu's famous Kimchi Butter Wings on this review because they got so dang pricey 😭
Please leave the name of the restaurants in the description
Groovy episode.
Mikey you missed out on trying the best wings in Orlando at Domu as they are kimchi butter flavored.
Can you make a vid about noodles. What is your preference think, thick, thin, flat etc and what is best for different soups or broths
It’s a crime to go to domu and not get their wings 😢
Thank you!!! Nice to get some food at great prices!
Mikey the next time you go to Domu you got to get the wings. Best Korean fried wings I’ve ever had.
They are ✅✅✅🔥🔥🔥
Are all of these from the guides?
scrumptious dumpling = Scrumpling!
Umaaaaaaaaaami!!!!!
Can you do one for Tampa, please?
Actually, some of the chicken looks a little pink and, clearly in the UK we’d freak out but yes, just an ingrained expectation…
He needs to try the Domu wings
my hot take is Jinya ramen is better than Domu's! love all these spots though!
The places are NOT listed down below :(
Where to go for the udon?
Did you go to Gideon’s next to Domu?! Huge and delicious cookies!
LAAP/LAAB NOT LARB
Which is your favorite from West coast to east coast
What was the first place he went too?
Yo! Literally in my hood!!
But is it umami?
What’s the 1st place called?
Mikey “Umami” Chen
Can i just ask a question? why is it Americans eat pink chicken. In the Uk we would never do it because of food poisening.
Because you can’t spell “poisoning.”
Maybe because you have never heard of smoked chicken before
Smoking meats gives it a pink ring. It's different than undercooked.
I'm American and I don't and no one that I know eats pink (raw) chicken! Hello, salmonella! That's not very smart!
We don’t eat pink chicken. But can eat pink duck and quail
You have no idea how long I have been following you... When you still lived in New York with your filming team, before you moved to Seattle. 🥰🥰🐰
Me, too!
