Hi Carter. What drum head is on your snare? I’m learning the drag into a downbeat from my drum instructor & I was able to do it at my drum lesson on my instructor’s snare. But when I tried it at home on my snare which has a fairly new red Evans hydraulic head, I couldn’t quite get the drag sound before the downbeat? Thanks
