    This is by far the greatest use of a negate that I have ever seen. Nassif was a god in this moment, he played perfectly.

    If you havent seen this full match, look it up now. It is the 2008 pro tour Kyoto finals, and is probably the best match of magic ever played.

    How did Scott-Vargas gain 11 life at 3:54?

      He didn't. He lost 3, from 15 to 12. The jump from 1 to 12 was due to the stream manager typing it in.

    You count the opponents hand size, lets say 3, then he puts those cards on top of his deck and then you look for 3 cards in his deck and put them in your opponent's hand.

    I think its the "the cards" and "the player" that's throwing me. Its not clear when you're reading it who "the player" is! I get it now you've explained it but man that's a confusing card. Thanks.
