Excellent tutorial. Allow me to ask a question concerning the HDMI out of the YoloBox: trying to connect this to a Viewsonic projector leads to the same result (=poor!) as if connecting the Atem mini HDMI out to the same projector: the projector shows the source image "falsely couloured", like overblurred with green red blue , one colour after the other in a series of seconds... What is the secret behind that and is there any workaround? Thanks and all the best to you and this YT channel
Initially I thought Yolo was a really good idea and I bought the Original version. Now that I look back I think the Original was actually the Beta version and still is. The Original version was to lure people in, then switch to a "Pro" version that would give people what they really wanted . . . . . but then there was no way to "upgrade" to the Pro version without just suckijng up the price of the "Beta" and forking out more $$$$ for one that actually does what the Original version should have done in the first place. And so now you hardly even hear about either the Original Beta version or the Pro because they found another product that makes them scads more $$$ without having to sell a physical product. Would be nice if they even just gave a rebate to get the Pro over the Beta version. I may be waiting till I die though. No point in that. They struck it rich with a product that doesn't require manufacturing. Your POV?
I have a question. I do live busking three times a week and all my audio of the guitar vocals and looper goes into a Bose T4s Mixer, Now how would i get the audio out of the mixer to the yolo box, I have a Sony 6000 camera that i would mount the box on top of, so thats ok but I’m concerned how i could get my audio from the mixer to the yolo box. I stream to Twitch Tv and want to do UA-cam and FacedBook. Please could you help here
Hi Zaheed, I'm not sure about the USB out connection from the ATEM Mini, however, the HDMI out from ATEM Mini to the YoloBox would definitely work! You may just need a HDMI to USB adapter if you're looking to make use of the YoloBox's USB in. Thanks for watching! - Shawn
Wanted to ask 3 things: 1. Can png images be imported from computer to the Yolobox via USB or SD card to be used? 2. Can the settings e.g. PiP profile be saved for the next "creation" or it has to be reassigned on each "creation" since I wanted to use the same PiP setting each time? 3. How many PiP profiles can be set up in each creation e.g. can one PiP profile be HDMI 1 small and HDMI 2 as background, and vice versa for the second PiP be set up in the same "creation"? Many thanks!
Hi, if i record into the SD card, if my live stream cuts for a few minutes due to internet connection, will the recording be missing those minutes as well?
Hello there! When you're recording into your SD Card, this will not be affected if your Live Stream cuts out. You should get a clean video recording throughout. Thanks for watching! - Shawn
Can I use an external audio interface in the Yolobox if I am going to connect 3 wireless lapel? Like, Behringer UMC404HD or Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 and Senheiser G3 wireless lapel.
Hello, an audio input device which can send its audio signal via a 3.5mm jack should be perfect in combination with the YoloBox. You would just need to tap the 'Line In' option on your Audio Inputs menu. Once you've done that, just ensure your audio levels are all balanced nicely and then any Mics you have connected through the Audio Input Device should be all good to go! I hope this helped! Thanks for watching :) - Shawn
Everytime I press GoLive, it tell me "Request had insufficient authentication scopes." Also, it says, "So sound, pease chck the audio ouput settings of the camera. Not able to link it to UA-cam or Custome RTMP(s), HDMI Output does not work.
Hello! You don't need YoloBox to schedule, only for the stream itself. That functionality is on YT. When you click where you usually upload a video, select go live. This takes you to a new screen. Set up a live event, and in that process it will give you the option to schedule. Then you can share the link - thank you!
Hello! If you are using the Canon M50 you just need to link it up via HDMI. So, it is compatible with YoloBox, you may just need to go into the settings menu to switch off all onscreen information from your camera for a clean output. I hope this helped! - Shawn
Hello, the audio is mono on the YoloBox. It does take stereo inputs via the Line In and the HDMI inputs, however all of this is outputted as mono. I hope this helps :) - Shawn
@@frankfengzhu depends really? I mean it’s just a custom implementation of OBS on a tablet with two HDMI inputs for recording a USB input, one HDMI out and recording onto SD...? All at 1080p. I’m not sure it is great value. Perhaps if you don’t have a monitor/recorder or the stuff lying around that would allow you to stream multiple inputs but at the point you can justify spending £840 on something so specific part of me thinks your either have enough kit and your own custom workflow or will have moved on to a more advanced setup.
@@HamerReviews you have valid points but the internet options including the sim card takes it to the next level, mobility. I purchased one and took it out to a remote location and started streaming with no problems. This unit is not perfect but they continue to listen to the consumer and roll out updates. New features are added with every update as well. I have some issues with the unit but there are workarounds. If doing streams remotely is not important to you then you don't need it. If you already own an Atem mini pro that will be enough for an in house option.
@@ShamanVybezmusicismedicine I completely agree with you. I own one too, and mobility is where yolobox shines the most. All in one tool is great too for a one/two person team
Have you guys tested the HDMI program our audio? I've heard it doesn't work and my use case would be to send the program to a LiveU Solo in the field and use it as a switcher mainly to cut to pre-recorded content when I need a break on long streams, but if audio doesn't come out with the hdmi out it won't work
2 things. in the program the 2 cameras in the 2 hdmi give me the images with the bars above and below. also with my canon 800d the yolobox reads me the camera monitor with all the info: exposure, focus, etc ... thanks
This can be used for streaming games too. It can effectively eliminate the need to buy a separate PC for streaming.
That's exactly what I was thinking! It looks like you could easily go live from a Xbox, @echochamber have you try this feature?
i just got the Yolobox pro ... its awesome
This is by far the best YoloBox video out here, all the questions that had and more were answered here in 10 minutes, THANK YOU. SUBSCRIBED

Can you use RØDELink Filmmaker Kit right on the yolo ??
Should work, as far as we know!
Does it record at 4k60fps?
When recording, does it record from all the available cameras or just the active one?
Hey… what do you recommend as an attachment to make our cameras wireless on the YoloLive Box?
mars 400 pro
If you are livestreaming on UA-cam, is the chat window viewable from the yolobox?

Can I stream zoom meeting with this portable setup on my video camera? And is there a battery power bank for this Yolobox?
What if we use webcam out(usb out) of Atem mini to USB input of the yolobox? will it work since yolobox support usb webcam input.

Wow,it's so great device for Live streaming. Thanks for sharing, dear friend.^^ Take care & good luck.^^감사합니다.
does this work with Atem MIni? Currently I rely on Atem and Ninja V into LiveU. No laptop. Will YoloBox fit in well or not needed?
From what I understand is if you have a clip on the SD card, you can only have one clip on it? Also, can you hot swap SD cards while broadcasting?
can the audio input be chosen as a default that overrides all other audio inputs?

how best can i stream well with my laptop and still get my mice working from it
Hello can one connect mini atem with yolo box?
and another one the box does not take 4K videos
Do you know if i can use a yolobox boughtin US if i go in Europe ?
I have a question. Can I use a sim card outside the US? I live in the Philippines.
Yes, you can indeed! :)
Is that HDMI to Type C port thing confirmed? That it in fact can be used as a third angle?
It mentions you can switch up to 6 sources in the "specs" but there is only 2 HDMI's and 1 USB... how does the other 3 supposedly connect?

Hi Mark! You absolutely can. Just full screen your program window to get your camera preview to full screen.
