I love this cage. My friends at Cinerails sent me a lens hood cover for the Yolobox .. just not enough time in the day to make a video about it ... Here 's a link if you want to check it out - cinerails.com/xstreambay-xmod/
Hey Monte, thanks for sharing your rig. Found you while searching for info on the Yolobox Pro to replace my current laptop/phone streaming link. I don't have a PTZ yet, but otherwise your setup looks a whole lot like mine, right down to the folding wagon. Great minds, as they say...
Where and what was the PTZ control coming from at the end, we didnt see it. How were you sending the control data, wireless or cabled along with the power from the battery
Loved seeing a couple things you did in this video. The power station was a great idea. I wouldnèt have run a long cable verses just having it beside the PTZ, but at the same time it seems very few people are attempting control of them as you did. I want to do the same thing when I can afford to and have only seen one other video which has remote ptz control, wonder why this is not something more people would be doing Also the rolling collapsible cart is just what I need also! I hope there is a link to that. Great video. Love seeing actual use cases like this and your boxing or seminar behind the scenes. Actual useage on a job is much more informative and interesting.
There are so many ways to do these setups for sure! I just received the PTZ Optics Move SE so I'm working on 2 videos for that. The 2nd video I'm going to do more tutorials for outside setups. Links to the collapsible cart and everything I used in the video is located in the video description.
@MonteWeaverofficial what's the max distance for the remote? and if a PTZ controller is used, how would it connect wirelessly from center field al the way to homeplate? What do I have to buy to send the signal there? Maybe a tutorial? Thanks man. New fan!!!
PTZ camera remote distance is about 30ft with direct line of sight - I’m don’t know of a wireless solution for a control unless you plan to setup everything over ndi
@@MonteWeaverofficial How do we control a PTZ camera with NDI? Do I need a license? If I do, is it expensive? Do you have a video tutorial for this? Congrats man. This is great help for the community. You're my goto guy when it comes to gear for streaming. I take your suggestions as the law of the land. Kudos!!!
In need of a little help if you’re willing. I have yolobox ultra and Teradek prism mobile, I am trying to build a strong internet connection because we don’t have onsite internet when doing high school sports. Any suggestions to give us a strong internet connection? We just purchased the yolobox ultra.
How do I get in contact with him? Just leave a comment? I would like to be as professional as possible but definitely would like to make my livestream have a stronger signal. @AJayTheCEO
Hey what’s up bro have you tested out the new video capture feature on m series iPads I heard it’s possible to stream and capture video with the iPad mini 6 with Camo studio
Great video, I am using the same tripod this year for a center field camera. Do you feel that you need to tether it to the ground to keep it from swaying in the wind?
For the tall raubay tripod, it holds well for me, but i do keep sand/water bags with me just in case. for my small tripod that the yolobox is on, i typically hang my camera bag on the center column to add more center weight.
Can you recommend a system I can use to stream outdoor soccer. I will be using my phone as a hotspot to stream live games. I’d like the ability to control the camera while streaming. Budget 1.5-2k. Using just 1 ptz camera.
How are you controlling the PTZ camera? If it is with the remote, don't you think it's a little inconvenient? Because you have to keep your attention on the camera that is in front of you and not only that, the PTZ is a bit far and the remote may not work properly. What do you think? BTY, Thanks for the video and the ideas.
Yes, I controlling the PTZ camera it with the remote control. I tried to make it clear at the beginning of the video that it was about to RAIN! There are MANY DIFFERENT WAYS TO DO YOUR SETUP! I'm sure if you've followed the channel for a while, you've seen I have controllers I use as well. To actually get the video recorded, I didn't have time to use the PTZ controller.
@@MonteWeaverofficial I totally understand the time sensitive issue with the rain and all. I was simply looking for your ideas on how you could better control that camera which is far away and connected wirelessly ,instead of it being in your studio or another more controllable area. I use PTZ cameras myself in my Live streaming set up, but always indoors during conferences, but never outside and connected wirelessly, which is why I am curious to know how you would do it. Thanks
Gotcha, but your initial question was [ If it is with the remote, don't you think it's a little inconvenient?] which is much different than asking [ What are your ideas on how you could better control that camera which is far away ] ... To answer the second question, I could setup a mini network outside with a portal router and use my iphone/ipad to control the cameras through an app OR another option would to bring my ptz controller along with a long RS232 cable. I personally don't mind using the remote control for outdoor events because I set pre-sets before a game and just call the presets when needed. I don't try to follow the action with my PTZ camera because most of the time I'm doing it solo.
It was just a demo bro. I wasn’t going all the way back home to get my mount. Otherwise this video wouldn’t have even been recorded made edited. A hanging transmitter for a couple minutes was just fine.
@@MonteWeaverofficial I went with the blackmagic assist 3g 5inch model and it accepted my phone to hdmi adapter, video quality is very nice but it is very sensitive to copy right or just stuff I thought should be acceptable.....and YES I know these monitors are more for filming equipment...but thanks for replying

Awesome. I’ll work on Yolobox content. Maybe YoloLiv will send me the new “ULTRA”
Good video, maybe another one would be handy, going into the streaming details before you go live (bitrate etc.). 👍🏻
Great suggestion. I can try to work on that video ... I wish there was more time in the day for UA-cam 😰

I believe you’ll have this setup.
Hey monte you deserve very well ! I have one question which camcorder is best for Yolobox pro for sports ⚽️ streaming ?
I would say any 1080p or 4k camcorder. I don’t own a camcorder so I would just look at the camera specs
Full HD videos are supported up to how many megabytes?
Not sure what you’re asking. You’d be limited my your upload speed.
Can you recommend a system I can use to stream outdoor soccer. I will be using my phone as a hotspot to stream live games. I’d like the ability to control the camera while streaming. Budget 1.5-2k. Using just 1 ptz camera.
I would say a mobile phone. 1500 - 2000 budget will be completely used up with a Yolobox device or OBSBOT Talent - amzn.to/3YpfK3X
Hey Monte, does that PTZ have ND filters? I've always had issues with my PTZs getting washed out from light
No ND filter, I adjusted the shutter to reduce the amount of lighting coming into the lens though

What Tally System do you use with the YoloBox or which affordable one will you recommend?

Thanks. More videos for outside setups coming soon.
