Follow me on Twitter for more USMNT content: / usmntvideos Josh Sargent had a great game yesterday. Had a goal and an assist. #JoshSargent #NorwichCity
He's come really far in the last two years. I saw one incident of his trademark clumsiness, but overall he's become a really skilled and dangerous player. Too bad his team probably won't get promotion this year either.
yep. seems to have levelled up in the championship. would have liked that for brenden too but the physicallity probably would have hurt him while josh excels physically
He definitely hustles his butt off on defensive duties. Sometimes he holds the ball a little too long, and might pass backwards, but he is getting better.
looking sharp, tbh I think hes at least as technically sound as pepi and more athletic. Hopefully he can continue his streak of form and then get a move
Pepi is a bit younger than Sargent so it isn't a fair comparison, but Pepi is more awkward on the ball that Josh. The big thing with Pepi was more clinical finishing, but Sargent has definitely closed that gap down in his recent play. Pep, Sargent, and Balogun are I think going to be quite the fight for the starting role over the next three years. The gap between all three is smaller than realized.
He also presses so so well. Which btw is one reason why I think Arriola is underrated by a lot of USMNT fans. Arriola and Sargent both work their absolute butts off on the press and are able to create real chances off the back of that
Was the second goal(?), the ouside shot, not technically an assist? I think that the guy took a couple of dribbles. I mean, the shot was just about the entire goal, but I have seen less for assists.
Really liking what I'm seeing from Sargent thus far this season

The championship has been a blessing in disguise for him.

i definitely think pepi and sargent are closer than most people will give credit for

Don't write sergeant off yet for Pepi. He is more physical and stronger than pepi

Sargent should very much be on the US squad. Norwich has improved his versatility
Definitely think he's a lock for the squad
He was on the last squad lmao. Thats kind of already answered
@@SFMEDITS
It's still early, but he's looking sharp. The last two years have really shown a lot of development. Is he above Pepi? I think so.
I think they’re about even at the moment
His development is reminding me of a budget more defensive Harry Kane
Thabk you! Got any from this weekend !?!?
Maybe we should play double striker, I don’t see why not.
We believe in you Josh! - Love from the Larabee's ...Assumption USA

As a Simply Minds fan...Go Josh
Was this regular season or preseason?
official comps
And some say Ferreira is on par if not better than him lololol

It was given as an assist, yes
why wasn't he given an assist for the goal off the set piece?
@@km4mm it was offsides. I tried to let the clip run long enough to see the linesman’s fla
Sargent could have had another goal, but his teammates are not very good at passing the ball to him.
He’s gonna score a lot this season don’t worry
And y’all saying the Championship would be bad for Tyler Adams…
Americans think the mls is better- American
i mean tyler adams is too good for the championship.
