This will never stop being funny
Those were the days. The Leafs were damn entertaining to watch
I love how after knocking the ref over, Cujo just proceeds to scream at him.
0:11 it’s a slip and slide ride 😂😂😂😂😂
RIP mick mcgeough😪
And the old Maple Leafs. Things started to go bad losing Joseph. Belfour was OK, but after losing game 6, it was the day they died altogether. Even if they make the finals next year, it still won’t be near as close as before 2004.
Rest In Peace mick
The Maple Leafs started dying once Joseph left. He came back for a brief time, but it was never the same.
They never did anything with him except that time he choked against Buffalo
@Cody Yeah. Damn the Dominator. Roli was a joke.
I remember this like it was yesterday!
Who wouldn't want to run over a referee with the name nick magoo
Mick..
Mick McGeough*
He died today.
0:10 dude that was the funniest thing I ever seen I replayed that like 12 times and was dead by the end of it 😂😂😂😂😂
Joseph: I hate you, Referee! I Hate You!
Someone should do this now to get the Refs to do their jobs properly
This is still one of the funniest moments in the history of hockey.
The Toronto guy pushed the Ottawa guy into Joseph so it is a good goal.
yes but alfredsson stuck his foot out to make contact with Joseph. He knew what he was doing. They needed a goal so they got it anyway they could
Ya I watch this and they reviewed it in slow mo and Daniel alferdson purposely used his leg to push Joseph leg over to interfere, but the ref was on the other side and didn’t see it
derek Cochrane dude that was the funniest goalie rage I’ve ever seen. I re watched it about 60 times😂😂😂😂
My left ear liked this
My ears are blessed.
Just imagine the suspension he would get nowadays. I don't care if he "did it accidently"
cashtheyen Yeah... but still. I doubt he got a suspension then
no he got a 10 minute game disqualification dumb shits
Dude this was the funniest sport incident I’ve ever seen. I replayed 0:11 about 40 times and was dead by the end of it. It’s like when in road rage you accidentally hit a cop car with yours. 😂😂😂😂😂 Even though it’s not funny for the person who did it.
My left ear really enjoyed this
Same here
1:15 harry neale is concerned about cujo
This was 2000, not 2002.
That slide, trip and fall probably isn't even a blip on that ref's radar in terms of hits he's taken on the job.
2000: CuJo accidentally knocks down ref, gets suspended
2019: Evander Kane gets accidentally pushed by ref, pushes back, gets suspended
Hrm.
McJohnson Haha
Chris Weyer dude this was the funniest sport incident I’ve ever seen I replayed it like 40 times and was dead by the end of it 😂😂😂😂😂
Joseph was never suspended for that. If I remember right even though the announcers assumed he would get a penalty, he didn't get a penalty either. I was expecting he would when I was watching but nothing came out of it.
This isn't 2002. The players are wearing the 2000nhl patches
no they wore the all star jersey 2 extra years cuz it was so flossy dog
RIP to Mick McGeough. His moment was where he was charged by Curtis Joseph.
Rest in peace mick, one of the best refs in history and a true lover of the game. Any other ref wouldve thrown cujo out of the game and pushed for 3-4 game suspension not mick he was one of a kind.
Dude this was the funniest thing ever I replayed this like 5 times and was dead by the end of it😂😂😂😂
Still laugh at this
Should have gotten a game misconduct, or maybe even more.
For the record, the referee's name is MICK McGEOUGH. ;)
i can't believe that play was 15 years ago!
ry4nx 17*
still that's crazy
ry4nx Ikr it's like I just watched it yesterday!
*April 17th, 2000
(Game 3.)
Thank you for knowing your hockey games :). You should be hired by Sportsnet, seriously!
This was in 99-00
The playoffs started today? Wow.
In the crease!!!!
Not 2002, but 2000.
this was nov 10th, 2000, not 2002
Game 3 1st round series, actually.
14:17 TOR Curtis Joseph Misconduct 10 min
This was 2000, not 2002
Right.
Because Of The 2000 NHL Patches.
It was a clean goal.
wheres your head at ! lol cujo is a legend
Nice work Sportsnet, the referees name is Mick McGeough.......and this is supposed to be some kind of journalistic organization....oh wait, it is run by Rogers, nvm, they would probably charge double to get the ref's real name
Leafs fan here. I remember watching this game. I have no idea who Diduck is,
thanks for this comment, I didn't know either lol. And I watched every game back then.
Gerald ?
It indeed was an accident C.J IS THE MAN HE'S HONOURABLE HE WOULDN'T DO IT IN PURPOSE
Old skool gamer 37 Oldskool Gamer37 Whats up with your name?
VEGANLIFE Curtis Joseph is a garbage human being. There's absolutely nothing honourable about this stain on humanity.
@@noonespecial9065 how? Explain.
@@darkthought7860 My dislike of him is a personal one, not general. And I'm not advocating for anyone else to hate him. That being said. When I was 10 years old I lived next door to his sister Sue, in Keswick. My parents and her were good friends. One day she showed up at our door with a beaten and bloodied sheepdog terrier cradled in her arms. She had gone to her parents house for a visit, when she found their family dog dying in the back yard. Curtis had had a temper tantrum and beat their dog within an inch of his life, with his goalie stick. My parents took him to the vet, but it wasn't good. He had a broken leg, broken ribs (which punctured one of his lungs) a skull fracture and multiple lacerations that required stitches. His sister helped with some of the vet bills, but only if we would keep him. My parents agreed. It took what seemed like forever, but he made a full recovery. We had to hide our hockey sticks and lock him up whenever we wanted to play street hockey. Just the sight of the hockey sticks would send him into a panic, where he would start crying and peeing himself. To this day Teddy was the best dog I ever had. I don't think any animal deserves to be abused, but to abuse such a loving and obedient dog is indefensible. I'm sorry if this has tarnished your view of him. I know many people love him from his time with the Leafs. I've been a lifelong Leafs fan myself, excluding the Joseph years of course.
What song in backround
Sad news. Mick McGeough has died at 62.
And people think the refs do nothing but give calls to leafs somehow... even today... 😂
bro... move... youre the goalie lol i don't see anything
Mick Magoo
Man I remember one game I think it was against the Ottawa in the playoffs when Joseph shut them out back to back and Bob Cole was like Breakaway stop by Joseph rebound stop by Joseph what's he doing in there
Dude 0:11 was the funniest thing I ever seen I rewatched it on UA-cam about 40 times 😂😂😂😂😂
Did this goal stand?
yes it did.... but you can clearly see alfredsson's leg kick Joseph's pad .....Cross had him tied up but Alfredsson out desperation just tried it and it worked....leafs won the series though
0:07 lol
How embarrassing. Kinda on brand for Toronto, I guess
Technicnally he was interfered with coz number 4 on his own team heat his shin pad with his skate
Based af
Lol mr. magoo
That was hilarious!
I miss cujo
Man, the good ol' days when refs didn't wear helmets...
I guess the y didn't.......
Exactly, and one Ref, 2 of them now still miss calls and I think I could only name one ref in the league.
Hey! That’s Goaltender Interference. 0:05 Those 2 players bumped into Curtis and they counted it as a goal? Screw those refs!
lol
😂🤣😂😂😂
Joseph is so overrated.
Curtis is so underrated.
Amazing Goalie
The amount of first round knockouts he orchestrated in his career. Lesser teams always had a chance with Joseph in there.
100% interference plus Cross was pushing the Sen player FOR sure but a awsome moment in my life to see that ref get a tackdown lol~
