Used this recipe not with ground beef but with small chopped beef for tacos. The flavor was absolutely delicious🤌 The whole family loved it. When I was a child and we were recently immigrated from Mexico my mom used to make lots of homemade things like chorizo and flour tortillas. I made this for her and she loved it! She said in her rancho they would make chorizo to preserve meat because they did not have electricity or refrigerators and a lot of these ingredients help preserve the meat. Thank you...

Hi, this was great, my butcher closed so now can make it, the cured/smoked, I still buy but getting expensive, I use for stuffies, seafood stuffing.. I put in food processor anyway, is fresh and the cured same recipe? Just ones dried(cured/smoked)?, Awesome recipe, did empanadas with cheese last night, rest for breakfast lol. Tyvm
