How would USCE be counted as work experience? For AMGs, all their rotations are USCEs, so their work experience will be five pages long? Not to mention we were not paid.
Hey Chun-Hao. Good point, but they're certainly differences in how AMGs do their med school rotations aka clerkships which automatically count as USCE, whereas many IMGs do these clinical rotations outside of their med school rotations and sometimes even after they graduate. With regards to getting paid we could make the same case for teaching experience. Although all teaching experience may not be paid, ERAS suggests including teaching experience under work experience. Eventually this has been the practice very commonly as a means to attract attention to the USCE an applicant has done, and to prevent it from getting lost in the long list of volunteering experiences they may have listed.
Tell me fellowship program....how to get admission in this program......on the basis of board certification exam .state exam....or depend upon which scroe for fellowship program ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
To get into fellowship programs the exams are no different than the ones you take for residency, i.e. USMLEs.
Sir as USMLE step 1 will be Pass / Fail how can a IMG do clinical elective in hospitals like Mayo, Cleveland where Step1 score is required
My understanding is that these hospitals will still need applicants to have done Step 1. They obviously wont be able to see the score since it would be pass/fail. We'll have to wait and see if there modify their application criteria in any way.

Hey Nishant! If I understand your question correctly, people usually have to give the board certification exam after completing residency. For example when one finishes Internal Medicine residency, they give the American Board of Internal Medicine certification exam to get board-certified.
