have one of these 2 months now. mine has an o ring at the suction flare joint- no leaks, the spray handle broke day 1, right by the threads on the compression fitting, bought a std issue spray handle from the ace hdwe store, didn't like the worm hose clamp- used a heet shrink tube- no leaks no sharp edges, used another piece of heet shrink on the suction tube where you have that tiny worm clamp. now the cup bottom broke out just like yours. great sprayer but can only give it a 5 out of 10. sprayer has maintained good pressure, battery life excellent. has anyone found a replacement for the cup with proper threads?
Similar pressure issue as some others. Builds initial pressure, then can't keep up as soon as the spray button is pressed and built pressure released. Just trickles after that. I believe it's an internal clog or a swollen gasket/o-ring. Anyone find cause and solution for this?
Any tips on how you cleaned the initial clog? Mine does not spray (about 1 year since I purchased it) and I disassembled the pump and seems clear but wondering if there is something else I am missing.

@@mscarolita76 I've disassembled mine a few times now and there is no clogs anywhere and the gasket is fine; it just doesn't work. I had hoped it was something simple like the gasket on the diaphragm. I can get it to spurt a sometimes but thats about it.
I just had to return this and re order.... from when I first got it the start button didnt work properly, I'd have to press it 2-3x to get it to turn on and stay on..... after 10 minutes of spraying J refilled tank and tried to just run water through it, and it would not stay on..... it woukd power on when I held button down, but the second I took finger off button it wouldnt stay on.... ever experience this or have any idea what it coukd of been? (Battery wasnt the issue it was fully charged / I tried other charged batteries on unit still had problem... ) re ordered it so I'll have another one in 2-3 days....
Well you should write Ryobi. I wrote them and they sent me a free replacement. Guess what? It’s a total piece of crap too. You will be better off with a $10 hand pump sprayer. If you watched this video past 1 minute you will see me tear into all the things wrong with this crap.

Same problem. Sprayed a trickle. Now it just won't spray at all. Love Ryobi but this is junk. Refund time.
Just be thankful yours will spray mine won't even prime

Check Ryobi parts. Company you get redirected to generally has great prices.

I have 4 of these and all but one won’t get pressure at all?

the button on mine is not working great, I have to hit the button like 10 times before it finally stays on.
Does your handle connection leak , i tried teflon and still leaks quite a bit 😓
Actually if you buy a replacement tank it comes with a cap to close off the inlet hole.
So pay $25 for a replacement tank instead of buying a 50 cent cork to plug the inlet hole ?
Mine came with caps that were clipped to the handles of the tanks.
