I Did a Writing Workshop with Cheryl Strayed!

Thanks for sharing your stories. Hopefully talking about things helps you feel better. I'm glad you found your necklace. I can sympathize with you.
I haven't been to a writing workshop, but did take creative writing classes in college and wanted to be a writer. But, I stumbled into a Japanese class and fell in love with it, getting sidetracked. So, now I just read books in Japanese and watch old Japanese movies instead.
He's been dead for a bit now, but I would LOVE to be able to go to a writing workshop helmed by Aristophanes, even to just hear stories from behind the scenes of all those plays and the lives of all the writers and actors in those circles. Also, I'm curious if you were wanting to take a workshop on memoirs specifically or if that was the only one available by the author.

Oh that's great, I would love to be able to read Japanese!!
I agree, Aristophanes would be super interesting.
I do tend to gravitate toward memoir workshops. There was a time when I considered myself primarily a memoir writer and I think most of my fiction comes from my real life anyway.
