Thoughts on "One Day" by David Nicholls

I read this book after watching the Netflix series (the opposite order of what I usually do). I forgot to say in the video, the series is so faithful to the book! And even thought I knew what happened, I never got bored reading the book, which was very surprising. This is a really realistic, heartbreaking look at two people navigating their friendship and love for each other for almost twenty years. It's not a grand romance. No one is a hero. People make big mistakes. I loved it.
