- Welcome to my UA-cam channel! In today's video, I want to talk about something that really grinds my gears: the way British people wash their dishes. Now, don't get me wrong, I love living in the UK, but there's one thing that I just can't stand - and that's when they don't properly rinse off the soap bubbles from their plates and bowls before drying them with a tea towel.
I mean, come on, isn't cleanliness important? It baffles me how some people can think that leaving soap residue on their dishes is acceptable. It's like they're just spreading germs around and calling it clean! Personally, I believe that rinsing dishes thoroughly is an essential part of the dishwashing process.
In this video, I'll be sharing my thoughts on why I find this habit so frustrating, as well as discussing the importance of proper dishwashing hygiene.
So, if you're tired of seeing your dishes come out of the wash still covered in soap bubbles, then this video is for you! Let's raise awareness about the importance of rinsing dishes properly and putting an end to this annoying habit once and for all.
Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to my channel for more videos on cultural differences and everyday annoyances. Thanks for watching!
CAN THIS VIDEO PLEASE GO VIRAL IN THE UK! My GOD my mind is blown with this.
This is so strange to me, as an American. I rinse everything, my dishes, my body. I never imagined skipping that step!
I'm shocked to see people skip that step, but here in UK some people do that, including my husband. 😂That's why I never let him clean the dishes when we are camping. 😂
@@Kerin-in-London 🤣😆so funny!
I’m in the US and I’ve never known anyone to not rinse dishes after washing!
Only some people, I think 😂
I know of one person in the US who did not rinse, and I discovered it when I was eating some soup, which tasted strongly of soap. Then I watched her later, washing and not rinsing. Makes no sense.
@@tn2cw 😂😂
This is how most people “clean” counters and floors, as well. We lease cleaning residues on all sorts of things. Always found that to be gross.
😂
Yes but we’re not eating food directly off of the counter so it’s not as critical to rinse.
Lol, I like the do you rinse the bubbles off the body😅😂😂😂... I've never known anyone that don't wash the bubbles off the plate tho! Maybe I need to observe more 😂
Haha… Whenever I’m in a camp site, I observe people. They don’t rinse off… 😂😂 Maybe only in UK😂.
Yeah, why not reduce the risk that your food will taste like soap?
@@Kerin-in-London maybe it adds to the flavor of the beans🤣
@@tn2cw I know some people in UK use tea towel to dry it but for me, I can still taste the soup.😂

Unfortunately there is a very poor hygiene in England,I am used to it but if someone offer me food or drink I always refused,...
🥲Oh dear...
Never knew people missed that step. Also doesnt it taste like soap? I wont use plastic dishes bc the soap stays on it.
I wonder if English people who have dish washing machines have a rinse cycle, or does it just swirl the food and soap around. Also begs the question, Do they rinse their clothes, or just the soap cycle.
I think everyone has a dishwasher at home. Its only when you are camping, I still see people dont rinse. 😂
Doesn't make sense 🤨 not to RINSE
😂 Yeah. Hard to believe.
I think that is weird too. Lol
😂
May be they like the taste of soap?
I bet their dishes stink. I don’t even accept hand washed dishes. I want a dishwasher to sanitize and bleach my dishes.
😂😂 I think everyone has a dishwasher at home nowadays. Its just when you are camping, i still see people don't rinse. It shocks me every time I see it😂.
