so basically right oh my god I beat minecraft but like i basically just got a bunch of like emeralds and diamonds and I like became a trillionaire and like ojh my god it was just so like funny and hillarious and like the best thing ever

lapis lazuli can cost 1$ per carat at the low end and 100-150$ per carat at the high end for good quality gems. and since minecraft shows no inclusions, one block of lapis would likely cost 2.175 billion or more. which would be like 460 blocks for a trilly. with an average fortune 3 drop rate of 14.3 lapis per ore. you would need 290 lapis ore to become a trillionaire. so definitely a better idea than trying to become a trillionaire with gold but def not as good as diamond or emerald
do the math but instead calculate supply and demand and give a realistic estimate on the actual value of items

Due to the fact that most crystals only grow so big, their value kind of exponentially increases. If you had a single block of diamond/emerald it would probably be priceless.

How did you get to 230 billion per diamond block? Diamond blocks are ~17.5 million carats, and the price per carat is ~5 000, meaning around 87 billion per block.
