- Its my second Spring with This Earth Wise Tiller. I am still happy with it. The power lever needed some repair Before I started this year though.

Great video. Mine sat for 2 yrs and then would not work on 10/09/22. Took the switch apart and found the exact problem as you described. I then plastic welded the white part into a closed loop and reassembled. Works great so far. Thanx!
Good Man - My rototiller stopped firing last year - figured it was a fuse - Nope... The little thing inside "moved" and was no longer catching the firing switch.
Your video gave me the inspiration to open it up :-)

Jeremy, thank for you this good vid. Mysteriously my same Earthwise wouldnt start and suspected the issue in the trigger mech. I removed that thing 5 times unsuccessful in getting it going as simple as doping it out it should have been. Saw your vid seeing i had overlooked something that should have been obvious and had it finally going within 10 minutes of watching your vid. Thanks!!!!!!!!!, and now a subscriber.

I really liked it but when you put everything back together you didn’t explain how to put it back together you went too fast and I don’t know how the hell to put it back together
Teresa Davis I’m sorry my video isn’t helpful to you. In all honesty it took me a couple times to figure it out. You might be able to pause the video and note the order of assembly one piece at a time.
my tines stopped spinning. I took it apart, there is spark, but the motor will not turn at all. Not sure if motor is locked up.....
Wonder if it is the trans.
Where can you buy motor brushes for these things? I have a TC70016.
I would check with your retailer first . Other than that , I do not know . This is about as deep As I have torn into one .
@@JunkPileOMatic Thanks for the prompt response. I tore mine down and removed the motor and brushes. The negative side brush somehow got cock-eyed and was not making contact. I also noticed it was worn more then the positive side. Straightened it out and put it back together. Runs like a champ. The company does not sell the brushes. Not sure where to look. Thanks again.
It worked, until I remounted it. Now it doesn’t work.
I have one and my blades are not moving. Is it a way to go in and oil the engine. I'm thinking that might be the problem.
+Johnathan boykin Are you still under warranty ? If so I would contact Earthwise. I have not Had my Tines off since I put mine together so I cant remember if it Has a shear pin in there other than the through bolt. the manual for my machine says after the second year you can add 2.4 oz (70ml) of auto gear lube. the drain screw plugs are on the right side of the transmission. they require a 5mm hex key to unscrew the plugs.
