I am a hudge fan of the michelin primacy 4+ in mine opion the best Tire..i drove a lot of tires because off my proffesion..and have a massive experience in the Tire word..and continental is my 2th best..especialy premiumcontact 6...good Tire 👍
Just fitted Premiumcontact 7. Initial impression and I was slightly disappointed, steering not as sharp as before and a bit more road noise, but ride comfort has improved. However they are now run in and I’ve used them in both dry and wet and I have to say the grip levels are superb especially in the wet.
Good video. As someone else mentioned though the Premium Contact 7 is usually pitched as a UHP tyre, despite the friendly name. That said, lines between categories can be blurred. I've got Asymmetric 6 and they're just great all-rounders. Like a comfortable touring tyre but with more grip and feedback. Can all be tweaked with pressures anyway.
Really useful and practical test. Could you suggest the best for my 2013 CRV? I usually fit Unriroyal Rain Experts but they wear out too fast on this car. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV, Goodyear Efficient Grip 2 SUV have both been suggested. Very open to views. Older, careful driver.
and then you put on the Linglong's and Westlakes... and you start thinking: none of these premium brands (groups) can make a tire this good for that price. (Not that I would buy them, but for driving around the churchtower they say here in Belgium...)
@@OcaOca it's an BMW original tyre, MO for Mercedes', RO1 for Audi, J for Jaguar, K1 for Ferrari, AMS for aston martin! the primacy 4 has a better grip on the wet!!!
This video is dropping at the end of the 2024 summer, great timing.
Thanks for including ride comfort!
The most awaited video

I'm using Pirelli P7 C2 ...its very good tire but the tire life is very short.

Try the same test at 3mm tread and see how good the Michelin is compared to the rest.

Turanzas wear faster than the competitors
really nice test. But the premiumcontact should be replased to the eco contact.
premumcontact 7 is more like PS5, Asymetic 6 in my opinion
Another tyre test did exactly this and the Premiumcontact still placed first.
Exactly.

Hankook Ventus Prime 4 would still be my price/performance go to tyre.
Why would you not test the PS5 rather than the Primacy 4??
Did you read the title, did you listen what is video ab, it is about TOURING tyres...
