GMB scandal: More sisters expose discrimination, misogyny and rule-breaking

As the GMB staff prepare for industrial action in Yorks & Humber Region for bullying and failure to implement the Monaghan report, a former GMB staff member and a CEC member tell of discrimination, misogyny and of blatant rule-breaking to buck democratic process in the union.
They describe systemic sexism at work and the deliberate unjustified suspensions of CEC (Central Executive Committee) members in order to control and cover abuse in GMB - as well as the use of members money to help secure Labour seats for a good number of its senior officials.
It’s time to to democratise and reclaim our unions. And with staff in three different unions now preparing for industrial action on culture change, that moment is getting a lot closer.
