Instead of doing a full loadout supply drop you could just do a specific weapon/item supply drop. Much cheaper to drop a water gun rather than your whole entire setup over and over. Water gun 1* is only adds 70 gmp to the cost of a supply drop and uses no medicinal plants.
I just took all my gear off tbh, just quicker to do resupply from the map than go in the weapon menu, plus you actually want to have a wu pistol and some fultons for the stalks around their to make your GMP back. GMP doesn;t matter end game anyway, you have infinite amount as you can sell resources at any time.
Just found a super easy way to do this, very quickly. Use the infinity bandana and equip active decoys. At the start of the mission throw plenty in full view of Quiet's starting position on the arch. She will prioritise shooting the decoys. Then while she's busy call in a resupply on her head. As long as you keep replacing the decoys she will get back up and keep shooting - more importantly she will stay on the arch, ready for another supply drop. Repeat until done, just stay behind cover. Effortless!
Another attempt is if you have the 'special item you get after Huey's specific cutscene', you can just use it and run up to her multiple times while having D-Dog with you, and just shoot her a lot with the Rocket Fist until she has enough for one more hit. Then let her get on ground level, and you can sneak up behind her and kick her from the back. That'll give you the last task as well. This is a good run regardless, though. Nice job!
If you take a tank in you can blow up the tower so you don't miss her when she is in that tower to the right. Getting in and out of the tank can be perilous though, also if you miss her a few times (6-8 times) she eventually will spawn behind you which made me jump out of my skin! Great guide though mate!
For anyone struggling, use the stealth camo in the beginning and place 2 dummies where you spawn, then run over to the building shown on the right at 6:20. Use one of the dummies then spread out a bunch of LLG mines on upper floor. Use the other dummy then go to the structure derilictly under her. Typically this is where shell run to next and if you spread them out just right itll insta down her when she gets over there
For anyone still having trouble with the supply drop method, **the goal is to keep her from changing positions AND get her to actually SHOOT at you when the supply drop is less than 10m from her**. Timing is key. After 5 or 6 retries, my method was to mark her, call in the drop, then pop up about once every four seconds (to keep her in place) until the drop is about 100m away, then *stay down and wait for it to hit 10m* and pop up one last time until she fired (at which point the supplies were already falling on her). She can only fire a shot about once every three seconds, so if you pop up too soon or don't stay up long enough for her to fire, most likely she will still dodge the attack. Before I did it this way, she would sometimes randomly change positions while the drop was en route or fire at me when it was such a distance that she did not have time to fire again and just dodged the drop. There is one spot where the supplies may get stuck above her without actually hitting her, but otherwise timing it this way I hit her every time. When I was just popping up at the 10m mark I was lucky to hit her 50% of the time.

I did a more unconventional method though, because I could only get 3 supply drops to hit her before she would consistently go to a spot where they couldn't get her. I also got tired of her killing me with one shot, so I equipped the parasite suit so I could use the armor for that too. So I dropped 3 supplies on her, then got in position to hit her with a sleep grenade. It didn't finish her off, so I waited for her to do her bathing sequence and sniped her. Then got into some decent cover and dropped one last supply on her head to finish her off. It took about 12 minutes but I got the S, which is all that matters...

Again, the 1st time I had accidentally skipped to Mission 12 completed it, upgraded the Sleeper Rifle, and then returned to Mission 11 and easily put the Phantom Buddy to rest with 7 or 8 hits. Equivalent to two or 3 Cargo drops. So, just guessing it'll take 14 to 20 Hits for Mission 40? Good Luck

Its actually pretty easy iirc. You use the fulton launcher and smoke grenades to cover yourself and run up on the vehicles to extract them while fultoning the enemies. You get infinite ammo drops and quiet drops ammon on you. Only hard part is the chopper. Pretty much the same strats you use in PW with vehicle boss battles. Though I haven't done it since 2015 release. I did the mission yesterday as I started the game again some time a few years ago but never did all the missions. Anyway I purposely did the same thing I did in 2015 on release. I specced myself for non lethal sneaking instead of combat depite I knew what the mission was as I played it before, but I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could do it. I got my ass handed to me lol. I was wearing the chick hat by the end of it lmao. Will try again with a proper specced build for it.
Since I already had S-Rank, I did it with highest level Sneaking Suit, Stealth Camo, Stun Arm, D-Dog, Noctocyanin or whatever it's called, and CQC. It still took me several retries wowza she's tough to get :O
Another fine job. *Spoiler alert* You say at the end that you miss Quiet; did you know you can get her back? Play the "Replay: Cloaked in Silence" mission 7 times, the 7th time it will be called "Reunion: Cloaked on Silence". Complete & Quiet returns! :)

I completed this, got all tasks complete, and an S rank by using a sleep grenade launcher attached to my tranq sniper rifle. You have to learn the points to line up the shots, but once you have it down you can hit her without ever being spotted. It's way more cost effective to use a sleep grenade launcher than calling in so many supply drops.
If you're not trying to get S Rank you can just surround her with gas granade. Throw 3 around her and she will get hit. To make it faster I used invisibility. Was very quick.
A good way to do this is to use the parasite armour and let Quiet hit u just b4 the supply drop lands - the parasite armour will allow u to tank one of her bullets without dying so as long as u have at least 6 parasite cartridges u should be good for the whole fight
I used 2 sleeping gas bombardments and that was all it took. Had to do a second time just sniping for the S rank, but this method took care of the optional tasks
I may be wrong, but I think you'll get the tasks just by neutralizing her with the supply drop. I mean you don't have to drain her energy down with 5 drops... you can shoot her until her energy is low enough so you can neutralize her with a single supply drop.

I just put on stealth camo and cqc'd her to death. For the S rank I used the parasite armor and the Brennan to take her out fast. A brennan shot to the head will take down about 3/4th of her health.

Unfortunately in 2022 the supply drop technique no longer works. By the time the fourth supply drop is about to hit, quiet then dissappears. Really annoying. But thanks for the video time travel kiwi, your videos are awesome.
sleep mine trick is very fast, S+All Tasks, and my favorite ua-cam.com/video/o1wRBzDZk6g/v-deo.html covers all tasks too. I used it to replay 7 times to get Quiet back too ^_^
There are a bunch of ways that work but if you use any invisibility or Air Strikes or Parasite suit stuff you don't get S rank. I've only beat it with an A. I had to use Armor. But I wanna get it with S so I can get the Raiden skin.

A lot faster way to call for fire support and hit her once with the gas. After that one supply drop and its finished

Yes. To do this, you have to change the weather and get her just a supply drop at her head 4-5 times. I actually did it pretty fast.

the easiest way is using sleep gas (air support) but it limits your rank to A or below

You could try to hit her with non-lethal weapons from a distance but most, if not all of them are not suited for ranged attacks.
