You have better luck with the Mimoc Tear than I did on her.
I found it more frequently than not face-tanking her attacks and keeping her at 100% with her healing.
It did better in NG+1 when I equipped it with a BHS weapon and Shabriri's Woe to keep her aggro.. but phase 2 and it got wrecked after Aeonia hit it.. since it didn't even try dodging 😂

I'm actually surprised by how much more outcry there about malenia being too hard. I found her rather mid tier in terms of difficulty because she's very easy to parry and not to mention fun to dance with.
It's because her waterfowl dance move is too overwhelming. You gotta dodge it in a very specific way multiple times with very specific timing. In the two times I beat her I either cheesed her enough that she didn't use it or used bloodhound step to run the fuck away
cuz malenia is the culmination of all the new age souls difficulty in 1 enemy: 2 3 hit kill combos that come out at FTL speed, insane tracking, a very bloated health pool, unending combos with barely any openings, heals when she hits you which is specifically designed knowing that people are gonna guard if she attacks that much A.K.A. the game punishing you for getting good
what's more ? All of this is designed to take advantage of the insane in built input delays and input queuing along with slow as animations your character already has. malenia, even with all her bs, would be a walk in the park in other games. she'd get gored in nioh 2
in short, this game is playing bloodborne or nioh 2 with DS 2 engine
@@SSSmokeStyle 1 more thing. with everything I've said, elden ring forces you to learn moves to counter them more than ever before in any other souls game and if you don't, you're most likely gonna die. instead of reacting to all the attacks in the moment, you're forced to memorize how exactly they're gonna come out, what direction it's gonna be, does it have tracking, how much damage it will do, is it a 2 part move, does it have instant AOE damage, etc. now here's the crazy part, enemies in elden ring are so hyper realistic that they'll have a lot of variants of all of their attacks that they can chain outta nowhere without rhythm so you gotta. memorize. everything
