I remember the night this video was posted. It makes me feel old seeing it's 9 whole years old now.
Same here, but with Slender Vs Jeff. Feels ancient, yea
This was part of my high school years
Yeah
I really liked this pasta. Spoilers.
Kid is brave enough to go out AND smart enough to get a gun.
Kid actually finds the place.
Kid enters and actually finds her alive.
Kid wounds it and ESCAPES.
Kid lives to tell his story, and most amazingly, continues to live afterward.
And a pretty good ending.
And most importantly he didn't get friendzoned
DUDE GUY 1999 and he got laid soon after, though i’d assume it’d be a few years after
Brandon M oh he fucking deserves it after that
@@Iijjccbb hell yeah!
He was scared, but saving the girl took priority. Kid has been playing his Nintendo games.
there are just some stories i listen to over and over again and this is definitely one of them
Agreed, deffo my favourite
This kid has much bigger balls then me
Him: *Goes and tries to save his friend*
Me:"Well good bye Jess love yah but i wish to live"
Jess: Well, aren’t you one callous little fuck? 🤣
i honestly thought there might be a twist when he was going to shoot the chain and that the "girl" (in my mind) wasn't actually Jess but a monster.
This would make a great movie.
It really would
They don’t have enough decent directors and decent companies with decent budgets to make movies out of all the great Creepypastas out there. Just tell all the writers for scary movies to come to your channel and spend a day or two listening to your channels stories and I guarantee they’ll find a million dollar movie. Especially the ones like “my friend lives in an alternate universe” one or the pen pal ones or Borrasca. But that’s just my opinion...
@@glawktawk Borrasca would make for one hell of a thriller/drama.
Lox Xis for sure would. We’ll see, slender man got a Hollywood movie (wasn’t that good, but still got a movie). So maybe we’ll see some more of these stories on the big screen lol
Indeed it would I can see the whole movie
That fucking rabbit set up the whole thing.
Always the fucking rabbits
Amber dont look out the window at night
Remind me to turn down your sleepovers lol
I love this story. This is the first horror story in like... 7 years to actually make me feel fear for the protagonists and empathy for them. Also i like how they survived. Its great to have the occasional creepypasta with a... bittersweet ending. I dont want all of them to be like that but its nice to find one that is.
Yeah its a nice change. I also like how at the end the clearing and cave system didn't just suddenly vanish for no reason.
MultiCool55 lol yeah
I also liked that the last time they saw each other it was like a sign of respect or something lol
ChunkySeaCow I like how some people actually believed them.
That was actually the best Creepy Pasta I have ever heard. Almost flawless. And terrifying to boot. This would be so intense if made into a movie.
Yeah, this would make an awesome movie
Indeed
I agree.Huuuughghgh
I love how, after all the tense, heart-stopping terror, the story ends on a very positive note, telling us "You've gone through hell and back, here's your reward". It's far more satisfying to have a horror story end positively then to end it on a bad note, cause then the audience feels duped; like they wasted their time. Sometimes a story ending on a bad note is appropriate when the themes, story, and narrative are leading to that conclusion. This story needed, and earned that happy ending.
No it wouldn't. As much as these might seem cool as films, Hollywood would just do their touch to them and it wouldn't be the same. This is usually why books/stories are a lot scarier than films
This was one of my favorites hands down!
What about Goatman? :o
Marty! That one was great too but I feel Fenter Woods outshines it. Fenter Woods is a great combination of thriller, horror, action, romance, and adventure. Anasi's Goatman Story is thriller and horror but not much else, and the main character ain't got shit on the one from this story.
This is a great short story. Although, in my opinion, "The Devils Game" is by far the best creepypasta ever written.
Charlie Martina Haven't heard that, but I'll check it out. My favorite ever is called Penpal, it's a six parter MrCreepypasta read.
***** You've probably already read it, but "1999". That's all I have to say, it speaks for itself.
"I continued my cautious journey into the depression." I feel that bro.
Every few years I come back to this narration. It’s the first creepypasta I ever sat through and it’s probably one of the biggest catalysts for why I enjoy reading as much as I do today.
It doesn’t try to do anything crazy or out of the box, but somehow that works in its favor. The simplicity of a boy venturing into the woods to save his abducted friend by a grotesque monster is just classic enough to draw most people’s attention, and it certainly drew mine. Can’t believe this story, and this stellar narration, will be 10 years old next year. Can’t wait to come back then for another listen!
*Here's a Nice. Long. Hard, Throbbing,* ...
Creepy Pasta for you guys to help kick off your summer vacation!!
A throbbing Creepypasta?
@@therealslimshitty5186 doki-doki...?
My new favorite. I never get to hear scary stories that end like that. it's extremely refreshing
agreed
+Johjoh Carey The whole time i was thinking "she's dead, she's dead, she's dead." I was NOT expecting that ending.
same here , i thought oh shoot she's dead , the ending was great i am listing to the fenter woods again, since enjoyed it so much
It reminds me of that episode in supernatural.
+Rustyknight Studios WHICH Episode? The one with the Windego? :?
This scared the shit out of me the 1st time I listened to this, seeing as it was about 2 in the morning, and my house is surrounded by woods..........
Dude no...XD.
Dude no...XD.
Same here, I fear for my life 👍
is is the type of story I like best, the ones where the would-be victims fight back.
Adrian Fisher And they actually live so they can be like,"So yeah I beat a giant monster."
Yeah same, there was one I read but can't remember which one it was of a guy who had a straight up terf war with a goatman, including pissing and shitting on the goatmans territory and it ended with the man pointing a rifle at the thing while both had a screaming contest and the guy won, god I wanna find that story again I can't find it anywhere
The relationship between the creature and the main character is really well made. People believed him and worked with him. It was a good ending with him being the hero. And the creature at the end felt like it was giving him a nod of "well played"
I do love horror stories with active, reasonably competent protagonists.
I stay up all night listening to you MCP!!! You're my hero!!!!!
An oldie but a goodie. Come back to this story every so often and it’s still a unique one.
"Stare that beastie in the face and really give him hell!" -Jethro Tull
God, I love this story! (Spoilers below) Part of me wants there to be more pastas with this nomadic creature, other part doesn't want it to become cliche and overused like Slendy. And it's so refreshing to see the protaganist not only surviving his encounter, but chances being that he never sees it again, despite it knowing full well where he lives.
TheBlues32 I now the comment is 4 months old, but I know a story that is very similar to this, except it is told from the point of view from the captive (not this group if characters if I remember correctly). Pretty sure it was called 'Prey'.
+snowman73227 I think I know this one. I believe CreepypastaJr read it. Not quite as good, in my opinion.
There's another called Prey that MCP read, though that creature was completely invisible.
TheBlues32 Yea the one read by CPJ was written by him if correct.
You probably only ever get one chance in your life to be a hero, don't waste it
oh CRAP and I'M GOING CAMPING FOR 3 WEEKS IN THE SUMMER!!! AND I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO GO *goes to a corner and sobs*
:D
Juan Bear go hunt that bitch down
I remember listening to this several years ago. Around 2015 or 2016. I remember being disappointed at how there was a happy ending. I considered it cheesy, corny, campy, whatever other words you want to attribute to it. But listening to it eight or nine years later (Too lazy to do maths atm) I appreciate it. It's a horrifying creepypasta with a heart warming ending, and I honestly don't think we get enough horror stories like that.
STILL..ONE of my FAVORITES EVER!!! Mr.CreepyPasta ..This one made me fall in love in your work 4 years ago!! I searched and searched..and FOUND IT..THIS WAS THE ONE! Respect&Regards my man!
My favourite intro out of them all :)
If anybody wants to go to Hardcore Creepypastas that would be great! They need help. I, personally like the channel. It's not as great as this channel but it's still good.
Lesson= Don't EVER go in the woods without a gun!! There's always something in there that wants to kill you!!
That's in Australia mate!
Raptorking18 so... there's nothing in the woods that will kill you in Australia?
Everything tries to kill you there, EVERYTHING!!!!!!
Thats just common sense, no matter where "the woods" are. Besides tall creatures with hook hands, there are lions and tigers and bears...oh my!!!! Seriously, if you are going into the woods, carry a damn gun. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
sydIRISH Thats a good philosophy in any situation woods or not!
It took me hours of searching, but I’ve found it. I used to listen to this to fall asleep when i was like 12.
idk why but i have not listen to your creepypastas for a long time your voice for them are the best Mrcreepypasta
My first creepypasta :) still love it!
Wonderful first. My first was a slenderman. Bit corny, when I look back on it, but I was young and that shit gave me nightmares.
Wow, this is the first one to make me afraid to close or open my eyes while watching. Very well written. Normally these things don't scare me but this one had a certain realism that I could not get over. And the narration voice is somewhat soothing and charming thought the story but it also adds a creepy setting. Very well done.
That was a masterpiece, both in literature and the way it way told. You have an amazing talent Mr. Reader. I've never experienced such a rush from a story telling. Amazing.
Its rare to see a story where the voice gets away from the foil whilst still remaining this tense. Its also nice to see a creepypasta monster that is not OP, a more instinctive beast with actual flaws. An instant classic, couldn't recommend it more and your narration certainly did the superb atmosphere justice. Truly professional and gripping. 9/10
Normally when reading creepypastas they have absolutely NO effect on me but when you read them they actually give me goosebumps, and it only happened today with two stories I listened to. This one and Boxes.
Not many can get me creeped out, let alone scare me with this stuff but you did, and for that I congratulate you good sir ::3
This has got to be the best creepypasta and the best horror story that I ever heard in my entire life. This deserves to be a movie and get some oscars.
you should watch I found a diary or my dog was lost for three days
watch Anasri goatman or psychosis or the first no end house
+Brian Santango Huevo Martinez Alexander Jr. Im really glad you all share my favorites with me.
I really want someone to make a "Are you afraid of the dark" or "tales from the cryptmaster" but instead they take creepypastas and use actors and sets to portray them.
I'd love to see a live action version of my favorite creepypastas
+Karnacle Blackburn haha they are very great pastas. I have the same feeling, and felt it so strong that I purchased a dslr camera and attempted to shoot a short creepypasta but failed as time went on
+Karnacle Blackburn You know, it's sad because that will never happen. :T It's just too much time and effort to create a quality film based on something as minute as Creepypasta. It sucks.
I like his narrations now but this was the golden age for creepypasta. I like this quality of audio.
I always come back to this one.... this is my favorite creepypasta
Part of Chuck Norris' childhood,
'Nuff said.
***** true that his joke was as funny as yours?
what did it phenix say?
I didn't know Chuck Norris jokes were still around.....
Daveyog Chuck acknowledged that Bruce was better, and in Bruce's book Jeet Kune Do, he states that Chuck trained under him. so there for bruce lee is better
Wut?
Am i the only one who thinks this story is beautiful and amaizingly scary at the same time
This was one of the first creepy pastas I ever listened to going on 9 years ago still my favorite longer creepy pasta
This one reminds me a lot of my boyfriend and I. We love animals and nature, I love rocks, we're both back country hicks, and my name is Jessica. I first read it a long time ago, and it's good to see someone that I'm comfortable listening to has narrated it. C:
Alternate universe: (black people) Jesse got kidnapped by the it, then the boy would get his gang and go into the woods and hear POP POP and the monster would start screaming in pain because it was being shot and shanked
Because logic
nice lol thats funny
John Picha stupidest shit ever but it's funny also
as a black man I can confirm this
how is jess still alive after getting mauled to the point where you can see ribs
no he didn't see her rib cage he seen the rib cage of the creature
oh srry i must have misherd
misheard*
Thomas Fink You know you can edit comments right? So you don't need to reply to your own comment correcting yourself.
He's still pretty torn up about it... :D
Anyone else coming back to this gem after looking for it in 2019?
I'll make sure to add this to my massive list of reasons to never go camping!
I hope your taking notes slendy
actually i think they should like borrow and trade notes haha (puns intended)
This is one of my favorite creepypastas :D
Hands down one of my favorite CP's narrated by one of the best in the business! Thank you!!!
Dear god, One of the best creepy pastas i have heard yet. Keep up the good work MrCreepyPasta.
Squint your eyes and turn your head to the right; does anyone else see the Ninja Turtle, or is it just me??
Bro that is so fucking awesome. I see it too. 😂
YES!! IT IS THERE!!!
I love how people can think of the good things while listening to scary shit like this😂
Leonardo
What's the song at 29:30?
I've been looking for it for a while now, but I've had no luck
By far the scariest story I've heard yet. The only one to actually scare me. You had me jumping at shadows all thirty five minutes!
Just recently found this one and I have to say, it's probably one of my favorites, well written, and narrated. Awesome job!
Yay happy ending for once
a story of the raw, profound power of love.
By far my favorite. The motif of sound is really well used. The rising action is set perfectly and soft break for romance hits home. A perfect example of great CreepyPasta!
Oooh NOOOOOOOOO it's the FENDER MAN
That’s pretty good.
What's with the slow motion dial up tone in the background? (Some where in the middle of the video if you want to hear it).
Wow! I've been listening creepy pastas day in day out for the past half year, but this... This! Really tugged me along for a adrenaline filled chase! Also offcourse due to the flawless and expressive narration by MrCreepyPasta! Kudos Good Sir!
This is one of my favorite creepy pastas because it has real quality on a technical level, you can tell someone that has at least somewhat studied writing put a lot of work into it. Reads like an actual horror novel. Great structure.
Every 23 spring for 23 days IT gets to eat.......... like if you know what I'm referring to.
Jeepers creepers
Jeepers creepers is an awesome movie
You'll float too
RollingxBigshot my very first scary movie.
thedarkestdawn1 hes not talking about jeepers creepers hes talking about the hash slinging slasher from sponge bob
I live deep in the woods 5miles to a small town
I love your voice, its so clean and clear and I love listening to you tell stories xo
My favourite one will always be Anasi's Goatman story and I listen to it every night I go to sleep.
No matter how many times I hear there is always something new I hadn't heard the first few 100 something times.
Please keep doing these. I love your work!
"It discovered it's meal had been stolen..." *giggidy*
does anyone know the name of the song that starts at 29:27
Wow, very well written, loved it. Felt this kind of tension, ache in my head almost through all the story...
This could be my new favorite Creepypasta
Well I WAS going to ride my dirtbike tomorrow on this new trail I found but Nevermind...
Great reading!!!!! I love the sound effects you use (the bells at 15:51 were on point!)
This is just golden. I love it.
this creepy pasta would make excellent Manga sieres
+Arturas Popa itd be a better Graphic Novel more like the Beowolf one something more american and more intense than manga
Yes you can do it, its not an absurd idea.
Why do you think that when people make novels they can make movies out of it? You may not like it but it dosent mean you can degrade people like that.
+tbonbrad I smell an ~edgy~ troll.
Games Starter no it wouldn't
3:27 I DONE IT?!😒 IT'S, "I DID IT!" "I'VE DONE IT! "
i love all the music you use in your your videos so calm and soothing
This would make an amazing movie! The whole thing was just so well composed and you voice was the icing on the cake!
It's my birthday today, can I get a hi from Mr. Creepypasta?
Fordie Welp that sucked.
Samantha Rhodes He is? What's he do.
Samantha Rhodes Oh ok I see.
there are literally over a million people who subscribe to him. hundreds of thousands of which comment and/or send emails. If you wanted him to answer every comment and email he would never have time to make videos. he does respond to comments, he does read peoples creepypastas and reply to emails. Just not everyone. That is not being an asshole.
what? that didnt make any sense. I have no idea what idea i am communication to?
I'm ghetto you see if I see that type of sh*t I run pack my stuff and drive to the ocean get a boat to New York get a taxi to Cali catch a plane to Hawaii and swim to a unknown island
You idiot.
Lol
Drive to the ocean?
IANFINITY_333 Who needs boats?
***** Ikr
Every now and then I go out of my way to find this and can't remember the name but your voice is always the way I can find it.
This was great! I even teared up towards the end. Great Job!
Here in 2022 who else here for nostalgic purposes?
WAY! better love story then twilight
Twilight was supposed to be a love story? 😳
this is the best creepy pasta i've ever heard. the narration made it so much better.
I love that piano piece it's one of my favorites classical songs ever..such good atmosphere added so much to the song..I also appreciate that you don't cut out your mistakes it adds to the panic tone..
I meant it adds to the story..
I'll draw a circle around me so it won't attack me. (At first I thought this was Slender xD Kind of reminds me of him...)
Slenderman! :D
This was such a good creepypasta!! I fangirled so hard at the kiss... Don't ask. By far my FAVORITE creepypasta I've ever heard!
Brings back the old times
soo... the rake?
Well the Rake doesn't attack unless provoked and 'it' is just attacking people at seemingly random
***** No matter what the f*ck it is, I will blow it up with my rockets. Or rather, hit it with my shovel until it's dead.
The rake is to small compared to the description that he explained. It wouldn't be slender man either because of the description of the face. It's unknown but from the fetters I have heard and gathered, I would call it the Traveling Giant (Something like that)
Jackxismine Speaking of slender man I don't even think he is that scary he's just a tall guy with tentacles in a suit if he had a face it would in fact be scarier
Hyperspeed ThirtyFour true, but if you ever run into it (Slender man) you might think differently
I bet that monster is just Donald trump
I'm glad to be a member of your channel Mr.Creepypasta
I don't have many, but this is definitely on of my favorite stories/youtube videos so far and is the reason i subscribed to you. Very good job on your part MrCreepyPasta.
Very engaging way of storytelling - thank you!
added to favorites, that was just fantastic!
Great story, good amount of creepiness, and a good ending. This is probably my favorite creepypasta, ever.
That was amazing. My new favorite.
This was awesome! I got goosebumps at the end!
there aren't too many creepypastas like this, a horrifying experience that ends with the protagonist getting out with a happy ending, but with the uncertainty of the creature's where a bouts.
This and anasi’s goatman story are some of my FAVORITE pastas out there. So scary yet so captivating
I really like this story, it didn’t have any filler bullshit and just kept me on edge the whole time.
This was AMAZING!
This is without a doubt the best Creepypasta ever
