That’s inspirational. Rn I’m working at McDonald’s which is pretty good money since I’m in high-school still, and now me and a close buddy are starting up this whole detailing thing. Invested quite a bit and these vids been a big help for sure👌🏽
I used a nanoskin clay mitt for a while, then I got one of the car pro clay towels and it’s 100x nicer. I always found myself dropping the mitt accidentally, the towel seems to almost stick to the paint and I’ve never dropped it yet!
Just discovered his channel by looking at his detail products videos where he breaks down the uses and came to this one and subscribed because he did show us love by handing down his recipes.👍
Starting a detailing business in Kalispell Mt and am 16 yrs old. A lot of your videos have helped me decide what to do. Hopefully it will work out thanks for the help
Great video bro! What steamer do you use? I need to get one but not sure which one to purchase. Thanks for all the great tips your work is amazing. Wishing you nothing but more success bro. Have a great night.
I do the interior first for the same reasons and everyone always says I need to do exteriors first - so glad I’m not alone! And when cleaning the interior, especially with the tornador, dust goes everywhere!
Nice, video James, alot of people start from the outside which hasn't worked for me the times I start on the outside first I dirty the inside with my shoes water, just doesn't work for me 😅
can you also spray geon wetcoat onto a drying towel for a drying aid? aswell spraying onto the paintwork before hand, or is there no need? also great videos always love them
Polstar and a Scrub Ninja, this dude knows what he is doing. Polstar is the GOAT interior cleaner. You did say a new Scrub Ninja. Do you not reuse them? I have one that I have done my whole interior with probably 10 times. I just rinse it out really good and let it air dry. It's still going strong.
I'm always going straight to cutting or polishing after my decontamination. Your video is the second one I've seen tonight that shows decontamination followed by LSP and no buffer all together. Is this the very basic detail you offer?
In your honest opinion do you think the Clay Mitt is better than the actual clay bar? I find that I get better results with the bar, the mitt is just fast in my opinion
you have experience and want to do a great job. that's all use detailers can ask of each other. There's many ways of getting a great result. just do it safely and use quality chemicals and tools. I don't like wet coats spray on pressure wash off.. just apply a solid sealant use it as a drying aide. but again do what you like..its all good
Do you knock on customers doors when arriving for an appointment and when finished do you knock on their door to notify them or via text Also do you pack up before getting the customer's approval
its best to let em know ahead of time you're on your way in and out let em get a quick look if they like it pack up if theres something they want done last minute or something you overlooked you dont have to unpack.
@@danf.8787 I think he takes that time for a full detail on average sometimes longer if its worse and sometimes faster if cleaner, and for the most part yes he doesn't do employees anymore lol. I've watched nearly all his videos so I know a lot about how he runs things.
Any advice on why after I wash one side and drys it has like marks still like it’s a water spot? (For sure didn’t have those marks before so it came from just washing the soap off then dry) when I dry with a rag it comes off but I’m essentially scrubbing it off and takes forever rather than just drying.
What if the client asked for the lower package that doesn’t include the steamer, would you still clean all the gunk with product and a brush? Im curious because then that would take more time for less of the price. How do you work around something like this?
I would probably add on steamer fee if the package they chose doesn’t include it depending on how grimy it is and level of difficulty ,just be upfront and let client know.

What solution did you use for the clay bar part? Just regular soap?
Do you have a deionized water systems? If so what system you recommend and how you set it up?
In your honest opinion do you think the Clay Mitt is better than the actual clay bar? I find that I get better results with the bar, the mitt is just fast in my opinion
Use the clay bar when the vehicle is heavily contaminated and the mitt when it’s a newer car or cars not too bad

I’ve been using super clean diluted 1 to 20 for interior it leaves it looking spotless
I use it 1 to 16. Do you know if there is much difference cause if not I’ll start diluting it 1 to 20 to save a little extra money
what cleaner does he use for the interior?

Hello, good morning, what liquid did you use in the pump? And was it for decontamination?
Good question man
Where do u get your spray bottles from and also what chemical do you use for pre soaking a car or vehicle?
he uses greenstar honeydew

Do you unplug the battery for you to do the interior for the battery not to drain???? or is it unnecessary?
Not necessary
What do you personally use for your iron remover?
Probably ironx
How do you deal with the soap suds bro?? Neighbors are complaining about that shit here😑
Hey bro, do you rinse off the iron remover before coming with the foam and agitation wash? any detailer brother can help out?
No, he didn’t. He stacked the foam on top of the iron remover, then hand wash, rinse, Re foam and clay.
This good steamer promo lol
