Before any mouthbreathers freak out.....I guess I trimmed a part out on accident where I talk about CED and summoning a second one for the 3k attack and I think I talked about BLS as well. Lots of stuff gets trimmed in editing. It happens lol
Excuses, excuses! But in all seriousness, why'd you choose Trish over Brio? Brionac is objectively far more broken than his sister... ...and not to even mention, still banned.
Hate to tell you, but you messed up on something else in there regarding the topic of CED, too. Emeperor Dragon does not "destroy" cards, it "sends" them to the graveyard. Stardust and destruction immune cards ain't got shit on CED. lol XD Also, thoughts on it with the OCG errata that we still haven't gotten outside of Japan almost a whole year?
Setosama (The Fanatic) I tried playing the errata' ed one on ygopro.Sure the card is still great as an easy to summon 3k beater, but its effect is kinda irrelevant, cuz first of all the burn damage is much less, plus you can't yata lock anymore which was its main purpose.A mere shadow of its former glorious self
YugiNoNo my only problem with that is, dad warped the game around itself with a force that had not ever been seen. How many cards have had multiple decks formed around itself and focuses on getting that one card out because it basically garuntees win? There's been yata lock and chaos for ced and bls. But those decks still didn't have the impact that dad had and for a main deck card!! Even extra deck cards which are more easily accessed, have not had the impact dad had. Dad, much like cyber dragon, is really a card that phased Yugioh into the next generation of power creep. Both of those cards were years ahead of their time.
Majespecter Unicorn Kirin. The best monster before it got limited and still is one of the "best" monsters of the entire game. Untargeteable, indestructible and on top of all that its a Pendulum monster. Yet, "totally balanced".
Towers deserves the Number 3 spot AT LEAST because when it was around, if your deck didn't have an out to Towers, your deck was shit. At least with Trishula, even if you got Trish'd you can still sometimes make a come-back but with Towers, if you didn't have the out it was GG. Also, the outs were always unconventional so they didn't work well with most decks which made playing rogue decks in that format a pain in the butthole. TL;DR Towers deserves to be number 3 instead of honourable mentioned. Also, Mokey Mokey deserves the number 1 spot because Mokey Mokey is OP.
Zane Truesdale, if that was the case, all semi-invincible monsters should be in the list. The rank 12 Super Quantal, Raidraptor Ultimate Falcon and even Timaeus Knight of Destiny. They all require such outs. Towers is scary and partially defined formats too, but it was shadowed by the Djinn lock of Nekroz, and Towers turbo didn't last too long. So yeah, I agree with it being a honorable mention.
During the 5D's Era, Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode quickly became the focus of my deck. I was once of the best players in my gaming circle... Though that changed when the Zexel Era came out, and most everything in those packs became Anti-Synchro.
Deskbot 9 (or 3) and tincan are probably my two honorable mentions for this just because they accelerate their respective decks and/or make the power play to finish the game.
Doma Fox honestly id give it to the dragon rulers before shock purely because of how powerful they were in comparison. true shock will probably never see the light of day again because of every kid and their dog has rank 4 access but in terms of when these cards were around.. shock just couldn't top the OP that dragon rulers had. ps. orichalcos for life
My Top 5 Monsters in Yugioh: 1. Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss 2. El-Shaddoll Construct 3. Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack 4. Evilswarm Exciton Knight 5. Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End
Dante has arguably shaped 2 years of our game. Dracossack was immensely powerful in Dragon Rulers format. Construct was also extremely overpowered and had a very long reign.
Arguably judgment dragon is also one of the strongest cards because it's basically a free 8 star that destroys everything as long as you have life points and it's also a 3000 attack beat stick
My picks: 1. Hot red deagon archfiend king calamity. ◇Costly to summon, but upon being summoned locks your opponent out of doing anything and leaves them victim to have their defenses shredded, and as if the name "King calamity" Doesn't already have you sold, he inflicts the monster he attacks atk as damage to the opponent, ontop of atk damage, meaning even if you attack a blue eyes, the opponent is still taking a 4K shotgun blast to their lp, plus if he is somehow destroyed, you get the dark synchro dragon invested in making him. So yeah he's pretty good! 2. Frightfur chimera ◇again, costly, but it negates cards and effects when attacking/attacked special summons opponents monsters(to your side) it destroys and gets 300 atk for each, it is a card that makes Xyz and synchro summoning easy and makes it to where the opponent is not going to have fun. 3. Arcanite magician, light synchro w/ the ability to destroy spells, traps, or monsters by use of its effect? Yes please! 4. Red eyes toon dragon, a perfect toon special summoner that gets you big toon attackers like Toon AG Golem, and Blue eyes toon dragon, plus with toon kingdom, the deck may not be GREAT, but it has a fair chance to end any unsuspecting folks quickly. 5. 5 headed dragon. It's a 5k atk/def beast that can only be destroyed by light types, which are likely over qualified for that, but i mean it's the highest printed atk In the game.
I once survived Chaos Emperor Dragon using Tasuke Knight, then I pulled off a Soul Exchange using his monster along with Goblinberg and another monster to bring out my Winged Dragon of Ra then I attacked for game. RIP.
I know it’s got major flaws and definitely fell apart during the link era, but probably my favorite monster when I got back into the game via Legacy of the Duelist after a very long break was Blue Eyes Twin Burst. Can be brought out with contact fusion or polymerization, attacks twice, can’t be destroyed by battle, banished what it couldn’t kill without targeting, 3k ATK, and protected if you also have Azure in the field. Yeah, not the most competitively viable, heck, most everyone who plays Blue Eyes just uses Chaos max anyway, but I loved wrecking the AI with it and I feel like it had the potential to be an amazing monster if it had been out maybe in the Xyz era and not the pendulum era
When I was like 12(when yata lock was a thing) an older friend of mine played that deck all the freaking time. I tried a million different things to beat him. Even an ALL trap deckXD god what was my damage
Divine_Wrath Neither is Exodia... You got a literal floodgate monster that hurts a good amount of decks in today's format that need the graveyard as a resource. It's a monster that's utilized in a very consistent deck that arguably builds the best 1st turn boards.
masked heroes. you're kidding right? The best first turn boards? Sure dark law and rafflesia is oppressive but the best first turn board is a bit of a stretch. Any tier one deck right now can make a first turn board like that
Mike Anderson yeah and treatoad AKA Toadally Awesome is getting added to that addition. It's going to be a very hard board to deal w. Most people are going to just scoop rather than deal with that shit.
5 Winged kuriboh lv 10 because it doesn't matter if you dont atk when I summon him it's the moment you go into battle phase and tribute is a cost so vailer and ogre won't work. 4 domain of the monarchs ( nuff said) 3 Shooting quasar dragon 2 starlight Road Not only your negating twin twist or anything that pops more than 2 cards you get a Free stardust dragon. 1 the most powerful card in my opinion is Goyo Gaurdian he use to be a generic lv 6 synchro but they errata him to where you need an earth Tuna and earth non tuna monster (yes I quoted drew from dpygo when I said tuna)
all those were were undeniably game changing without question. they were all fun cards to use though and still are/would be even today, their text was ahead of its time by far. non targeting removal (especially that banishes) and sending are still the best forms of removal in the game. CED especially did way too much it definitely would have hurt to deal with this with Construct or Moraltach who already doesn't target and still is at one. I remember when Idk you could select someone's card on field but the effect doesn't target it I thought it was the stupidest thing since Super Poly being "Spell Speed 4". don't even get me started on a card that prevents the most important phase of the game. unless someone had bad math or being cocky once yata hit it was over. I hope you do spells and traps too because snatch steal and sixth sense were just wtf. I remember thinking why snatch steal would be okay and COH not because competitively they are the same card as they found out.... again
My Top 5: #5. Blaze Fenix, The Bombardent Bird #4. Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon #3. Beelze Of The Diabolic Dragons #2. Cyber Dragon Infinity #1. Destiny End Dragoon
Sauron Exe i haven't kept up with yugioh since the 3rd season of the original cast (yugi, pharaoh, joey, kaiba etc.) i just got back into it after downloading the game on ps4. i have no idea what you're talking about when you say rockket engine lol
*Makyura the Destructor!* Just like Exodia, it creates a win condition on its own, and to this day the deck built around it has the most consistent FTK in yugioh history, because YOU CAN ACTIVATE TRAPS FROM YOUR HAND THE TURN THIS CARD IS SENT TO THE GRAVEYARD! LIKE, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!
Honest is pretty Powerful ESPECIALLY setting up your Grave for Envoy. And with it back,to 3....Chaosworn MIGHT go to Tier 1 just off it's Unbanning. But that just me tho *Sips tea*
forgot to mention emperor creates the yata lock by letting you search off a ss witch of sangan to get yata then normal yata and your opponet can't do shit.
How many people want to bet eventually yugioh is gonna devolve to hooding you win the die roll and trying to make a ten negate board hoping your opponent doesn’t have something like a hand trap or nibiru for example?
RED Ogre his ATK is 2800 DEF is 2100 card EFFECT when this card is normal summon this card can send all card's on the field back to the owner's hand to the number of card's you send from your hand to the Graveyard Also Pumprincess the princess of ghosts this card ATK is 900 DEF is 1000 card EFFECT is when this card is Destoryed by battle in face up ATK this card is not sen't to the Graveyard this card becomes a continuous spell card during each player's stanby phase place one pumpkin counter on this card your opponent's monster's loss 100 ATK and 100 DEF for each pumpkin counter on this card
metalfreekz13 JD has lots of outs because it blows up the field. If it was send to the deck or back to the hand it would still be op. I play against a lightsworn player that uses dad trish and bls...because JD can win the game but doesn't.
Number 10 chaos max dragon Number 9 utopia and its many forms Number 8 dark mist Number 7 hope harbinger dragon titanic Number 6 chaos number 101 Number 5 obelisk Number 4 slifer and winged dragon Number 3 galxyeyes photon dragon Number 2 neo galxyeyes photon dragon Number 1 number 62 galxyeyes prime photon dragon
"Even if your opponent lives through the burn damage, Chaos Emperor dragon has still 3000 atk to poke with". Ehh, what now? Chaos Emperor Dragons sends itself to the graveyard too, YugiNoNo. Epic fail!
Right but you can summon another because it's so easy to drop on the board. I guess I trimmed that part out. And besides dude it's just a video. If you take it super serious then you have some problems ;)
You were probably thinking of JD no worries. I'm curios did you play back in the Invasion of Chaos days? Anyone that played back then would know of the infamous chaos emperor and yata lock. Witch/sangan + Chaos into yata.
except yata is only 200 attack so no biggie though also it says this: When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, they skip their next Draw Phase.
What is that background sound around 3:26-3:30? Also, "Honerable Mentions"... I really hope the joke is that you're dissing them by not even spelling honor correctly... XD
Rafflesia being able to time space trap hole a jinzo is pretty fucking funny Trivver bounces a whole field just on its summon infinity being able to jack monsters and negate anything is good the one I will name belongs to an archetype that is not the best anymore but has the best floater of all time Dark Worlds with Grapha a potential 3000k beater that you can just bring back is so good Brionic dragons of ice barrier being able to loop cards and keep bouncing your opponent's board is so good Elshaddoll winda being able to spam shaddoll fusions an then drop winda for a summon lock is so good... they can't even destroy it by card effects very good Ultimate Ancient Gear Golemn a slow deck but a potential 8800 k atk piercer that prevents your opponent's from activating spell and traps an has breif floating ability is good and even though it's inconsistent it's still a savage card Magical scientist c'mon a continuous insta fusion you can just summon and have acces to rank 4,5, or 6 is Just so broken Utopic Future a bs card that steals monsters an cant be destroyed and can be used in any xyz's deck this is my list could not think of other's...
Before any mouthbreathers freak out.....I guess I trimmed a part out on accident where I talk about CED and summoning a second one for the 3k attack and I think I talked about BLS as well. Lots of stuff gets trimmed in editing. It happens lol

exodia obliterate
Oh wow! I wasn't expecting number one, but the most entertaining part was the interactions with Eugene XD
Surprised DAD isn't on the list.
Man I thought about it...I really did but I tried to have a good spread of cards throughout the years and be fair.
Should have done a best card of each era video. Teledad, never forget.
YugiNoNo my only problem with that is, dad warped the game around itself with a force that had not ever been seen. 1:11
I'm dissapointed... number 1 should have been larva mouth
Yuuto,The Dark Knight of XYZ true story
Majespecter Unicorn Kirin. The best monster before it got limited and still is one of the "best" monsters of the entire game. Untargeteable, indestructible and on top of all that its a Pendulum monster. Yet, "totally balanced".
The Yellow Raven You have to be really bad not to get around kirin.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand now it's banned.
ディバイン・ウィリアム lllllol
5- Larvae Moth
4-Larvae Moth
3-Larvae moth
2-Larvae moth
1-LARVAE MOOOTTTTHHHHH
One of weakest monsters in game
Yata is the spirit of the bird from
Dumb and Dumber
But seriously I love my Yata 😜
CYBER JAR!!!!!! Well, before it got banned
Towers deserves the Number 3 spot AT LEAST because when it was around, if your deck didn't have an out to Towers, your deck was shit. At least with Trishula, even if you got Trish'd you can still sometimes make a come-back but with Towers, if you didn't have the out it was GG.

Antonio H. N. Muniz Vennominaga tho
Enrique Palafox That's right lol
it's good to have you back man
During the 5D's Era, Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode quickly became the focus of my deck. I was once of the best players in my gaming circle... Though that changed when the Zexel Era came out, and most everything in those packs became Anti-Synchro.

I would of picked Shock Master on the list cause it was among the best XYZ cards that dominated the meta every time.
Doma Fox honestly id give it to the dragon rulers before shock purely because of how powerful they were in comparison. true shock will probably never see the light of day again because of every kid and their dog has rank 4 access but in terms of when these cards were around.. shock just couldn't top the OP that dragon rulers had.
ps. orichalcos for life
I used to break the yata lock. It is possible with graveyard effects and removed effects.
I'm surprise JD wasn't on here
My Top 5 Monsters in Yugioh:
1. Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss
2. El-Shaddoll Construct
3. Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack
4. Evilswarm Exciton Knight
5. Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End
Oooooo exciton is a good one!
Teysa Karlov dante, construct dracosack? why those there r way better cards then that.
Dante has arguably shaped 2 years of our game. Dracossack was immensely powerful in Dragon Rulers format. Construct was also extremely overpowered and had a very long reign.
Teysa Karlov it wasn't overpowered
Arguably judgment dragon is also one of the strongest cards because it's basically a free 8 star that destroys everything as long as you have life points and it's also a 3000 attack beat stick

I like to imagine Yata stands on top of the opponents deck and just pecks there hand when they try to draw a card.
Excellent list. I remember CED and Yata. One of the most annoying locks of all time. There's a reason why we have a ban list now.
I once survived Chaos Emperor Dragon using Tasuke Knight, then I pulled off a Soul Exchange using his monster along with Goblinberg and another monster to bring out my Winged Dragon of Ra then I attacked for game. RIP.

Honorable mention the Jars Fiber, Cyber, Morphing, and Morphing #2, if they activate change the entire table, thats why all of them are forbidden
Thank you for making me laugh , i really needed .. :)
When I was like 12(when yata lock was a thing) an older friend of mine played that deck all the freaking time. I tried a million different things to beat him. Even an ALL trap deckXD god what was my damage
Honorable mention to the unmentioned and mighty Cyber Dragon Infinity..
How is Dark Law not in this list??? Macro cosmos with legs that punishes searching Cmonn!
Mr Tobi1018 Dark Law is powerful but it isn't the most powerful Yugioh monster in history.
Divine_Wrath Neither is Exodia... You got a literal floodgate monster that hurts a good amount of decks in today's format that need the graveyard as a resource. It's a monster that's utilized in a very consistent deck that arguably builds the best 1st turn boards.

Given how game is now it's basically you go first you win end of story.
There's a deck called Pepei that locked out your opponent from Playing That they had to make emergency Ban-lists twice!
You should make a list of the best spell cards and a list of the best trap cards. If you haven't already.
5 Winged kuriboh lv 10 because it doesn't matter if you dont atk when I summon him it's the moment you go into battle phase and tribute is a cost so vailer and ogre won't work.
4 domain of the monarchs ( nuff said)
3 Shooting quasar dragon
2 starlight Road
Not only your negating twin twist or anything that pops more than 2 cards you get a Free stardust dragon.
1 the most powerful card in my opinion is Goyo Gaurdian he use to be a generic lv 6 synchro but they errata him to where you need an earth Tuna and earth non tuna monster (yes I quoted drew from dpygo when I said tuna)
my top 5 for the current meta:
5) Utopia The Lightning
4) Masked Hero Dank Law
3) Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon
2) Majespecter Unicorn
1) Treatoad
A little bird and a Mankey on heroine is just a s powerful a god, 2 big ass dragons, 2 tank warriors and a god.
all those were were undeniably game changing without question. they were all fun cards to use though and still are/would be even today, their text was ahead of its time by far. non targeting removal (especially that banishes) and sending are still the best forms of removal in the game. #4. Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon
#3. Beelze Of The Diabolic Dragons
#2. Cyber Dragon Infinity
#1. Destiny End Dragoon
I'm curious, what year/format did Exodia deck make Worlds?
Towers def should've made the top 5 lol. I miss my towers so much 😭
I'm getting exodia soon!!!! IM SO EXCITED
empty pure mill jar deck was the most OP deck with a 96% win rate
I have this card called Dystopia the Despondent. It's incredibly difficult to summon or beat
As much as I love Trish, I don't think it deserves a spot here imo
The lack of Dragon Ruler big Daddy and the cute rescue kitty is weird thou
I love the legendary exodia incarnate exodia necross three Egyptian gods
Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon will always be my #1
Marshmallon for the win.... anyone remember that as a kid? That card was so annoying now it's just like, marshmallon, Regeki, boom.
What about powerbonded rampage dragon destroying back row with three attacks at 4200 or Infinty with xyz materials
red-eyes darkness dragon
With Rokkets/Vullets, that WILL be the case.
that card is fun to run
1terraforce Especially in a Rokket engine.
Sauron Exe i haven't kept up with yugioh since the 3rd season of the original cast (yugi, pharaoh, joey, kaiba etc.) i just got back into it after downloading the game on ps4. i have no idea what you're talking about when you say rockket engine lol
I’m honestly just watching this so I can beat my friend with op cards.
My friend and I believe you look like the talkative Yugioh version of silent Bob
just curiouse if it was all cards not just monster would spell book of judgement have made the list
New honorable mention: Master Peace
*Makyura the Destructor!*
Just like Exodia, it creates a win condition on its own, and to this day the deck built around it has the most consistent FTK in yugioh history, because YOU CAN ACTIVATE TRAPS FROM YOUR HAND THE TURN THIS CARD IS SENT TO THE GRAVEYARD! LIKE, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!
Yeah that thing turns Reckless Greed into Pot of Greed.
i just KNEW Chaos emporer D would be here.
Z arc is pretty op but he’s a bit of a pain to get him on the field🤔
Honest is pretty Powerful ESPECIALLY setting up your Grave for Envoy. And with it back,to 3....Chaosworn MIGHT go to Tier 1 just off it's Unbanning. But that just me tho *Sips tea*
4:09 EVERY TIME WHEN YOU GET ftk'd by exodia
Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, so broke it has to take 6 turns to summon.
Where's Deskbot 009? I mean making a monster 20k attack having the effect of ancient gear golem as well as being ridiculously easy to summon?
forgot to mention emperor creates the yata lock by letting you search off a ss witch of sangan to get yata then normal yata and your opponet can't do shit.
Brionarc deserves at least a honorable mention
Tyranno Infinity can be powerful AF (attack wise) people have got it up to 30k attack.. thats crazy
Looking back at this now is kinda funny because a lot of this is unbanned
I've drawn exodia without using an exodia deck felt more awesome doing it xD
How many people want to bet eventually yugioh is gonna devolve to hooding you win the die roll and trying to make a ten negate board hoping your opponent doesn’t have something like a hand trap or nibiru for example?
bro! halloween deck? youre not down...lol nice list btw
why wasn't performapal gatlinghoul here
zelord bamberger That's my friends favorite card too
Timaeus Knight of Destiny. If you manage to summon him that is...
For a moment I thought you were gonna say Gren Maju Da Eiza
Doesn't Chaos Emperor Dragon blow himself up when you use his effect?
fire king high avatar garunix - wipe all monsters and is immune to card effects
I want cyber dragons in that list
dank law and DAD should have gotten honorable mentions imo, dad probably should of been in the top 5. otherwise i agree except maye trish was too high
The Emperor himself
Prince Yata
Duke of Trishula
Ariadne the bishop
General Utopia Lightning
Literally a full bureaucracy of Yugioh monsters.

Number 1 is Kuriboh. :D With the fluffy effect protect himself. xD
Magical Scientist is the strongest monster.
Where is Kirin? Even when it was at one u splashed the 4card engine in every Pendulum deck lol.
Obelisk the Tormentor
Yay I called it he was to come back. But for how long?
Dude, you need to see neo blue eyes ultimate dragon.
What about Pot of Greed? This card allows you to draw two new cards! Greed is goood
Are we ever going to see a "My girlfriend draws Yugioh cards Episode 3?"
05. Crystal Wing
04. Trishula
03. Dark Armed Dragon
02. Chaos Emperor Dragon
01. Judgment Dragon
All dragons o.O;
metalfreekz13 JD has lots of outs because it blows up the field. If it was send to the deck or back to the hand it would still be op. I play against a lightsworn player that uses dad trish and bls...because JD can win the game but doesn't.
What about Thousand Eyes Restrict? Or at least Relinquished.
I seriously thought beautiful Vennominaga was going to be the top 1
I agree with this list dickslapping that like button
0:05 Is That Avatar Of The Pot ?

Ehh, what now? Chaos Emperor Dragons sends itself to the graveyard too, YugiNoNo. Epic fail!
Right but you can summon another because it's so easy to drop on the board. I guess I trimmed that part out. And besides dude it's just a video. If you take it super serious then you have some problems ;)
You were probably thinking of JD no worries. I'm curios did you play back in the Invasion of Chaos days? Anyone that played back then would know of the infamous chaos emperor and yata lock. Witch/sangan + Chaos into yata.
Bruce Lawson
Are you talking to me or YugiNoNo?
except yata is only 200 attack so no biggie though also it says this: When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, they skip their next Draw Phase.
What is that background sound around 3:26-3:30?
Also, "Honerable Mentions"... I really hope the joke is that you're dissing them by not even spelling honor correctly... XD

Ultimate Ancient Gear Golemn
a slow deck but a potential 8800 k atk piercer that prevents your opponent's from activating spell and traps an has breif floating ability is good and even though it's inconsistent it's still a savage card
Magical scientist c'mon a continuous insta fusion you can just summon and have acces to rank 4,5, or 6 is Just so broken
