Another great video of an outstanding car! Sad that some random dude (probably a Prius owner) got his panties in a bunch and thought it was okay to curse at you, but awesome for the video! Go Four Speed, keep moving forward!
My first car was a 72 Chevelle SS. I got bit by the street racing bug and felt the Chevelle was too heavy to be fast enough so I sold it and built a V8 Vega. I always loved the Chevelle though and as I got older decided I wanted to get another one so during Covid I found another 72 Chevelle....
This reminds me of my High School car which was a 72 Malibu. I put every penny and hour I could get into it and before I painted it tuxedo black with rally stripes. Up until that I had it primered flat black so it looked and drove much like that! Thanks for sharing 😎👍
Another great story. As good as the car. Especially enjoyed that "precious" complainer at the end. LOL First vid I though his funky property looked a little tight. But watching those cars move through it....Wow. Gotta be creative to get the heavy American metal in and out.
WOW.....lots of parallels there. I bought my 66 Mustang in 1975 while in HS. First car....and still have her!! I hope to shoot some type video of her soon.....but my dream is to have you do your magic and film her......want to come 3000 miles??? Thanks
Have to move out of CALF. The tree huggers will hunt you down and destroy your car. I for one love that smell. My old Camaro would make my eyes water. Love the smell of racing gas.
@@michaeldinke6540 No, interesting as in its universally recognized as the ugliest steering wheel every produced by Chevrolet. That kind of interesting. Not as interesting as adding an “e” to make something less humiliating, no matter how accurate.
my Hat's Off to you David!! Great Job On your '71 Chevelle SS!! just don't believe you purchased it off the Original owner..at age 17!! i was still 'picking' my nose washing dishes at my parents Chinese Restaurant! Fu&K that Guy who doesn't Like 'Hot Rodding' too!...i'm Still 'working' on my '71 Nova! i'm age 60 now...Still Love Hot Rodding..& my Cars Flat Black & LOUD..( Like Your Son! ). Wish ..i could afford a 406Cub.inch!!...But i got in enough 'trouble' in my Younger days! Cheers From Toronto,Canada! Great Video Again Ben!!😃
I grew up in Nebraska, was stationed in Germany, South Carolina, Korea, and the mid east, now I live in Michigan.. and in all the places I have had my cars I never had anyone say anything like that to me. Driving around the 70 GTO with a satin black rattle can paint job I had people starting up conversations at stop lights They talk to me and give me thumbs up in my 70 Cuda and 65 GTO too. It might be time to move out of california when the inhabitants don't want gearheads around anymore.. let them all walk. ;)

"He did not like hot rodding....... " that made my whole DAY(!) :)
So funny!
That was what we call in the industry a "Happy Ending".
Yes haha!

That gold and black paint job with the original style wheels was perfect!😁.. wish I could find a 80s malibu to build on.

Super cool Chevelle!
I think so too!
Simple yet effective. God I love 'Old School'. You got me wondering now if I should put the reproduction Ol' 'Poly Glass' tires on my car.
Do it! Or Firestone makes radial versions with the bias ply look
Great video bud! The end was so funny, I can’t believe that happened 😂
Thanks!
A gorgeous machine love the video
Thank you very much!

@YouCanBeAlso....interesting, considering its a factory SS optioned steering wheel.

What’s the deal with the Ferrari you keep showing? Or is that a later video? Looks like you could get a year’s worth of videos out of this one garage!
There’s just so much to shoot lol! But I’ll be bringing a lot of different cars on the channel soon
@@FourSpeedFilms It’s like a full time job!
Bro let his jealousy come out.
I bet if he was in the car, instead of looking at it, he woulda liked them burnouts. Lol
