@CC Ryder Funny GeeM couldn't build anything to compete in Nascar so they flexed their corporate muscle to get rules changed forcing Ford and Chrysler to run smaller displacement engines and restrictor plates on the intake manifold's basically using two barrel carburetors under the the B.S. that tire tech could not keep up with speed's the Ford's and Mopar's were generating at the super speedway's and where was GeeM? Still selling crap to loser's like you so they could payoff all their cronies for implementing these changes.

They have everything in these little packages. They had studs for 3 different cars. Anything else they have to order it. If it's not in the packages, we have to order it. They removed the lead from fuel, but they keep the flouride in the water. I want a pair of Hello Kitty boxer shorts.

My favorite car was The Sox & Martin 1970 'Cuda that tore up everyone. NHRA began to screw MOPAR by forcing the unbeatable Hemi cars to carry more weight than the Fords, Chevy's, Pontiac's & other assorted non-Mopar cars. I am talking about carrying hundreds of pounds. It was like dragging 6 people behind the Dodges & Plymouths. Still, Ronnie Sox drove the car like all heck & shifted the car so quickly that it sounded like an automatic shifting. You could see the front end pop up through each gear. Yes, these were the best of times when all Americans were of one mind. Not the BS going on now where hatred is spread by the media & Hollywood.

Dirk Pitt girls were way better then. Now half of them are fat and lazy. Then the others try to be boys. Today’s society shames women for taking there roll as a woman. There still is hot girls though luckily lol

I would love to see this whole video. Where did this tidbit come from, and can I buy it still? Cali Charger was always my favorite dragster, even when it went rear engine. Big drag racing fan from back in the day. Can go back even further than "Hemi Under glass".

And Don Garlits really thinks electric dragsters will be popular??? There was more character in this bygone era than an American Idol showdown...

Two twin brothers from my town Bob and Fred Gillings beat Dick Landy 2 out of 3 runs at Great Lakes Drag strip in Union Grove , Wisconsin back in the day. Bob and Fred raced all over the country until the 90's when Fred died of kidney failure.

The hay day of racing before technology took all the fun out of it. Technology (ie electronics) is wonderful, but it is not as fun as it once was. They raced by the seat of their pants, shot from the hip. Intuition played a huge role, hunches were played. Now, computers give it all to you in .00000000001 seconds. Oh well, technology has taken the human factor out of everything.
