Fantastic stuff mate. That terrain up there is so crazy and varied. I think i recognised the odd bit from my recent run out there. The wet, windy weather just made it even more mad. I need to put my video together soon, so I'm taking some inspiration from this one 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Mark. It really is difficult, isn't it? I had the route loaded into my watch and I had the All Trails app as a back up, but I did struggle at times to find my way especially with the wind and the rain. Hope you enjoyed the run yourself, and I'm looking forwards to seeing it when it's out!
Nice one Craig, never been to the Peak District myself so good to see what the terrain and trails are like out there! Great to get out and explore new routes, thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers Ben. It's a really cool place. Did a few trail runs and hikes, I'd highly recommend it. Proper challenging but worth it. Hope your training for UTS 100km is going well mate
Thank you! I had to drive four hours from the south of England to get there, as we're not very lucky with mountains/challenging trails down here. Not sure where your based, but hopefully there's some good trails nearby :)
Cheers Craig from Australia 🇦🇺. Hills and water, so different from flat and hot. Are you building up for any particular type of race? Keep up the good work. 👍
Cheers Glen. My cousins live in Australia, and it does look fairly flat where they live and train. I'm running the Manchester Marathon on Sunday, and I'm going to run the Thames Path 100 miler in May. I've been injured for a long time unfortunately. I'll try my best performance wise, but I'll just be happy to finish if anything. Hope your doing well!
Lovely place that not far from us. For walking in our case not running 😂 The site of a famous mass trespass in the 1930s in order to gain public access to open land.

Stunning scenes Craig. Weather looked like a real mixed bag mate. Superb running as always. 😎🤘
Thanks Ben, it was proper fun but so windy. Glad to have made it back without being blown off (:

Brings back happy memories of bog jumping up near there when I was a kid.😂
Love your trail videos the best 💯 makes me want to jump on a plane and jet off to hike them all

It would have been a fun walk too, that's for sure! I'd do it in the summer next time though 😂
