What a tight band.Albert Lee is quickly becoming my favourite performer.True musicianship,no distortion,no auto tune,no taped music-just pure musical talent.
If you read this, Mr. Lee, we love you. Thank you so much for doing this little concert at Norm's. And I want to thank the rest of the band, too. You guys are awesome!
Doesn't get any better than Mr. Albert Lee!! He's a true gem and gentleman. Great voice and what a picker he is. Big thanks to Norman for getting Alvin and presenting us with a wonderful concert... 👍🏻😎
I been digging on UA-cam all day looking for something good for my soul… and I decided to type in Albert Lee. Praise god for giving me that thought and thanks norm for hosting
Albert is playing and singing beautifuly. He is 78 years old and has nothing left to prove he dropped out of the speed guitar Olympics years ago, he's now playing differently but still wonderful.
Nothing like some good ol Albert lee on a Sunday afternoon, nice 👍 thank you normans rare records and guitars 🎸, nice love it thanks BigAl thanks again praise Jesus grace Christ amen.
Singing IN TUNE has become a lost art or often achieved electronically. I didn't hear a single bad note from Albert on these songs...singing or playing. An impressive artist.
Thank you, Mr. Lee, I've been a fan of your playing since the 70's and once again entertainment brought to us by Norm from Norm's is always without fail above top shelf. Thank you, Norm.
Cant say enough great things about Albert, Thank you for this Norm and crew and of course all of the band, albert also has a golden voice, could listen to him all day.
Wow thank you Albert Lee and thank you Norman. What a beautiful recital. I doubt if Albert has ever bought a Tube Screamer? Why would he when he can play top quality clean all night long. amen
You guys are so lucky with the great talent that comes thru Norms. As for good ole Albert, well that guy hasn't lost a damn thing over the years. Just a fantastic performer. Lovely set by the band. Thanx for the show.
I played on the same country circuit as Albert when I was 16 around the UK country clubs in the early 70’s he played with Country Fever then with the late Jon Derek Jed Ford and Pete Oakman from Joe Brown and the Bruvvers. Great days
Did anyone else spot the miniature Stone Henge on the wall behind the drummer? I'm guessing that is a spinal tap reference. I had my volume turned up to 11 for this gig. Thanks Mr Lee.
Great video and performance by Albert and the guys, anyone liking Evangelina go check out Jonathan Edwards' version on the 'Sailboat' album, by far my favourite version of that song , in fact the whole album is fantastic, thanks for posting !
Thank Albert Lee for bringing Rodney Crowell and Toto’s Steve Lukather together to write U Don’t Know How Much I Hate U from Houston Kid and Lukather’s album Luke.
