- Now, this isn't a video to bash anybody else but myself! LMAO I took the bait on everyone saying you don't have to spend $20k, $30k, $40+ for a LS swap including rear end, brakes etcetc. This was the outcome 🥴. A lot of struggle, a lot of tow miles, A lot of bs that kept me from enjoying the build completely!
Now we're on a mission to get to SEMA as representation of the Big Wheel Car Culture! So with that comes with flipping the entire drivetrain and powertrain. Suspension, brakes, rear end EVERYTHING radiator back.
Currently we're locking in partnerships with Mast Motorsports, Holley Performance, Baer Brakes, QA1 Suspension and more!

If you ask me, his swap is decent well worth the money every shop will down play Someone Else work to make there’s look better. Just for they can tax the sh!t 💩out of him.

Goodness bro....20K a lot. If I spend 20K I don't want no problems. You gotta great attitude about it though. Building a car is tough. You really need the knowledge to go with the bag. I would've never knew if you didn't point it out. The whip looks amazing!
They never tell you to get in the door at that $7-8-9-10k is just the start. No warranties come with that. I got $3-4k in just being left on the side of the highway tow cost 😂 Everybody that say they can do it cheap never show how much they really work on the car. All the social media stuff is highlights only.
Expose these Janky Shops so people will know not to do business with them! That shop you at now tho they work speak for themselves by looking at this video!
Honestly, after swapping a vehicle recently I realized how much these shops try to make the work seems so daunting and hard. If you spend the money for the Holley setup everything is literally plug and play. To each is own keep doing you but just know it’s not as hard to perform a swap correctly as they would have you think.

It’s always easy until it ain’t Lol. 80% of the car world relies on them for their knowledge, craftsmanship, etcetc . Most of these guys do 2-3 jobs and all of a sudden it’s “Drop your car off at LS Ricks” 😂. Some ppl are okay with just getting by and running, some want more. There’s a lane for everyone.
That's why I do my own shit 20k just to put a motor in ok whatever dam the game done change put hey it is what it is

One thing I've noticed when it comes to the ls swaps the car spends more time in the ship than being on the road. Especially when it comes to big horsepower.
Gotta go to the ppl that have a proven resume. Even some big shops have half assed installs. Gotta do ya homework!

20k?? Does that come with a new motor??
😂😂 No, you’d be getting a “rebuilt” motor which is re-machining the heads and rebuilding the top end. Maybe a rebuilt trans if they feel like it’ll need service but most just putting the pull out in there with a new pan and some spray paint.
I stay not that far from this speed shop. Just bout a 80 z-28 gonna swap down the road. Might have to use them.

Lmaoooo definitely No wheels. you might squeeze suspension and rear end if they cheap on labor but not all in one. Wheels and tires going yo eat up $8k alone. Suspension going to eat up $4-5k. Then you still gotta plan for hiccups along the swap way. If anybody promise you that expect the hassles to come with it too on the back end 😂

Swaps don't have to cost thst much..$20k doing myself mine looks better and no leaks. Some people just do janky ass work. Give that shop $100k and they gone give you the same janky $hit..sandwiching the trans cooler, rtv on the trans pan..cheap wiring..that's just an ignorant mind at work..
You’re the 10% - maybe 20% of car guys that actually work on their own. The rest of the guys have to rely on others to do the work. Most guys that invest time into their craft aren’t going to be the same price as guys that don’t. Thats mainly the concept behind price point discussions

It's not always money, it's people having knowledge and taking pride in their work. Some people are "cheap", they just are very particular about stuff, and there are "expensive" shops that....yikes. Either way, I see you're moving ahead with your vision and hopefully you've found the right shop to bring it to life. I'm learning with y'all.

Thats about where I’m tied into the powertrain, drivetrain, suspension stuff, As well as fixing stuff on the back end, Tows, etcetc. Shit just keep draining you. They don’t tell you that part when they say they can do it for $_____. Ain’t no warranties and just fixing off Gp 😂
