It's the first comic I can remember buying. I was 7. Our local comic shop hosted some event and had a dude dressed as spider-man signing these. I picked up the silver copy and he signed it on the page where torment is written vertically, "spidey". A few weeks later I noticed pictures from the event were posted on the wall and one of them was of spider-man holding me up. They let me take that home and I still have it somewhere with the comic. Good times.
Wow, what a wholesome story, that must be a really special memory for you! It’s always cool when we can tie such a personal memory to these comics we love reading. My first comic was a reprint of ASM #252 found in the back of a Spider-Man character encyclopedia that I bought at a book fair when I was a kid. Still have that thing on my shelf 😋
Another great review! I’ve been trying to show restraint and not pick that beauty up but that dope wraparound cover and sweet looking interior art are calling to me! Keep up the good work.
Thanks for checking out another video 😁 It really all depends on how big of a Spidey/McFarlane fan you are. The stories are by no means terrible, but they’re just not very memorable. The art is where the party’s at with this book, but as I said, you shouldn’t feel bad if you choose to skip it either
