Qunari born without horns were said to have a special destiny waiting for them. Hence sten having no horns and becoming a leader of his people after origins
Its the best game in the franchise to this day, the character planning could actually make you so insanely op. It had such a cool storyline too, it was just such a cool game all around

Gonna be honest with you as someone who played the first game first it isn't that good. It's a basic story told well with not the best looks and the combat is pretty average. Then the second games and is obviously a downgrade in terms of everything. This is just my opinion but Inquisition is the best of the games with better combat, better maps, and the characters have more personality than the first.
Literally started a new playthrough this week and I just miss the quality of writing/script they had back then. You really felt the dark fantasy mood of the setting, the direness of it all, yet with a bit of hope that things will turn out for the better with your companions. And the banter! The chemistry! God I missed this.

Hate to break it to you, but it wouldn't be a financial success that would make it worth the effort. They would have to rerecord the lines of every single companion, NPC, and side characters. With them needing to do that, Duncan's V/A passed away last month. It would be literally impossible and extremely disrespectful to just recast

All of that combined in a dark fantasy world. Such an awesome game.

What this franchise has devolved into now might be quite different, but the original was supposed to have some dark themes to it. I remember in my first playthrough as a City Elf, there was open discrimination against us “knife ears” and then my fiancée was kidnapped and r@ped by a noble. This was all within the first hour and I knew I wouldn’t want my own kids to play it until they got older. However, I would gladly play the LOTR Conquest games or RPGs with them.

The Warden-Commander armor is THE best looking armor of all of DA, perhaps of all games, period. Especially the last tier with the red accents, so good.

I DO! The Urn of Sacred Ashes trailer! I would rewatch it so much as a kid. I would imagine that my warden did all this and always brought Sten, Morrigan and Leliana to kill the fake Andrauste. I love Origins! Literally bought a copy earlier this year and bought all the dlc for it.

If one thing we've learnt after the last two decades is that trailers do NOT represent well the final product most times. I remember there were some Origins trailers that looked NOTHING like the game. Same. Loved Origins. A little disappointed in 2 being too Linear, but the story was still great. Then inquisition happened and I fell in love with Dragon Age again. Origins to me still holds up as the best one overall. With Veilguard? Idk. Not hating, but also not pre-ordering until I see more gameplay. I’m pretty sure the story will be fire, but I’m not liking the changes I saw for combat. I always preferred the ability to play between tactical cam and 3rd person. Then there’s the rumors of not being able to switch characters and max party being 3, but we’ll see.

Combat has become like Mass Effect, with tactical being required to simple activate a skill, and there will be only 3 of them available (I think they will implement Andromeda system, where you have to select 3 skills for quick access). Also, companions are kinda immortal, as they didn’t have health bar on the interface, and they have also got three skills and 1 combo attach. Combat is hack and slash, with dodges, parries. If you reply, I can quickly tell about the major changes in the game. Damn, gonna replay origins after getting high-grade depression for the veilguard

Tactical Cam is what made me really love the game and the high detail of tailoring your companions on how you want them to act when you’re not manually controlling them. If I wanted Mass Effect I would just play Mass Effect. Oh well, I’m already replaying Origins, but now I’m REALLY going to be playing Origins

Funny enough, this trailer inspired my first character that i beat the game with and then would recreate for d2 mass effect 1 through 3 and even bg3.
Started off as sword and board then moved to 2 handed tank. Oh, memories.

NEVER saw this trailer. Never touched anything BioWare, after KOTOR, until Mass Effect 2 had already been out 2yrs. What a can of worms. 😁 What a time to be alive. Sunk...3yrs+ into Dragon Age and Mass Effect. ... But it all died after 2015. We just didn't know it til 9yrs later. 😑

If one thing we've learnt after the last two decades is that trailers do NOT represent well the final product most times. I remember there were some Origins trailers that looked NOTHING like the game. If you're disappointed now, that's okay, but once the game comes out, give it a chance before you decide to stay disappointed. @@omarhernandez6316
Same. Loved Origins. A little disappointed in 2 being too Linear, but the story was still great. Then inquisition happened and I fell in love with Dragon Age again. Origins to me still holds up as the best one overall. With Veilguard? Idk. Not hating, but also not pre-ordering until I see more gameplay. I’m pretty sure the story will be fire, but I’m not liking the changes I saw for combat. I always preferred the ability to play between tactical cam and 3rd person. Then there’s the rumors of not being able to switch characters and max party being 3, but we’ll see.
@@oitaga6703it’s not rumors mate. Combat has become like Mass Effect, with tactical being required to simple activate a skill, and there will be only 3 of them available (I think they will implement Andromeda system, where you have to select 3 skills for quick access). Also, companions are kinda immortal, as they didn’t have health bar on the interface, and they have also got three skills and 1 combo attach. Combat is hack and slash, with dodges, parries. If you reply, I can quickly tell about the major changes in the game.

@@АлександрРоманишин-е6с That’s a shame. I never knew the day would come when they would completely change the overall gameplay that is dragon age. Tactical Cam is what made me really love the game and the high detail of tailoring your companions on how you want them to act when you’re not manually controlling them. Shit like when they should use a health potion, spells and talents they should be performing, and whether they should be defensive or aggressive. If I wanted Mass Effect I would just play Mass Effect. Oh well, I’m already replaying Origins, but now I’m REALLY going to be playing Origins
