I had a hip replacement and I was a mess before and after. There were so many kind strangers that helped me . I found young men especially helpful and they often struck up the type of conversation that would make their mothers proud. There are so many kind people in this world but our news is full of stories about hateful people. Let’s support our youth become the leaders they deserve to be.

I stopped and put my car in Park in the middle of the city to help an elderly lady with a walker cross the crosswalk. She got Sassy as can be and told me to stop-she didn't want nobody's help! I laughed and still do now typing. She was a road warrior, I was taking her exercise away. Bless her, hope she's still goin...
