I learned a lot from this video. I'm only doing my cv axle but I like seeing all of this. I figure from this video I can probably just remove the spindle bolts from the strut, and then the center hub nut, and leave everything else in place. Then just work the axle out and swap. I'm in Fl so I won't have all the rust to overcome. Many thanks my man! 🍻
I’m really glad I was able to help you! I try to make as detailed and helpful videos as possible, when I made this one I replaced the axle, wheel bearing and lower ball joint so I made 1 long video and edited it into 3 different ones. There may be more things I show in the wheel bearing and ball joint video so check those out too if you wanna see some more work lol. Thank you very much for the polite and thoughtful comment! Have a great one and good luck with your car!
Pro tip: All the things you are describing you did you could have recorded doing so you don't have to just describe it. This is an instructional video after all. But thanks for recording the rest.
Eh, it’s hard with this phone to record with my tripod because it kept falling over. Once the economy gets better and I can afford a better camera I gladly will. Unless you wanna donate to the channel so I can buy a better camera and record the things I say instead of just saying them feel free too
Yea you can do it that way too, I only did it this way because I was doing a wheel bearing as well and I already had to take the knuckle off so it was just easier this way.

Thanks man I appreciate it! I will try lol
Great video dude!
Thanks!
What size are the strut bolts?
The ones on the bottom nuts are a 24mm or 15/16ths. The top ones are a 14mm

Do not take all this off!! All you need to take off is the caliper, rotor and bolts to the strut.
