    I love BeaverCraft tutorials and Irenes newsletter and the kits too. I have learned so much.. your tools are also great. Question: I want to make a large kuksa. What wood should I use? What size piece of wood should I start with and what finish would you suggest? Thanks you guys are great

      Thank you so much, Mary. We're glad that you love our company! As for the kuksa, birch is an ideal kuksa wood but it's hard wood, so it's very difficult to carve. That's why for beginner the best wood is basswood. In addition, if you want to get a pattern for kuksa and 50+ more projects,

      I too have a C15 detail knife and it’s just what I needed to complete my tool bag.
      That thing is great quality, really sharp, gets in small places, and holds an edge very well.
      I bought my daughter a Beavercraft starter set and she loves hers too.

    Great work just found you subbed n got patterns 🙏. One question. What’s the tape on your fingers I have mobility and function issues in both hands which means I can’t wear gloves go figure so intrigued as to what you use to see if it would be an option. Many thanks n keep up the great work 🤙

    I subscribed to get the pattern and received the email. Why is it requiring me to sign up for dropbox to actually download or print the pattern for this? Your description said nothing about having to do this.

    hey BeaverCraft, Nice video, I`m halfway, but do you have a less edited version of this, it`s so hard to follow when the images change without even finishing the cut and the way you turn the piece constantly it is not so clear either. If not no worries but would be very grateful

    I wish this video had more step-by-step instructions. Explain why each thing is happening, and how deep the cuts are supposed to be? There are a couple instructions at the beginning and then nothing else so im having a really hard time following along without a real plan

    I am a right hand person and tape my left thumb and finger why do you tape right thumb and finger ?

      We tape the right thumb and finger cos we use them to push the knife, so it's more comfortable to work with the knife

      @@BeaverCraftTools This is not a tutorial, it is just a video of someone silently carving with no instructions! If you are going to call something a tutorial at least have some directions/instructions. I actually own a few of your carving knives which are good quality for the price.
