This 3 year old seems so polite and calm it's so wonderful to watch. My 4 year old sister is quite the opposite, she'd just climb the piano and hurt herself, blame it on the piano, and put a booger on it to mark her territory.
It never said prodigy or master. It's just someone proud of their little daughter at the piano recital and posting the video. Does everything have to be entertainment or guiness book of UA-cam?! They have the right to post a video of their child's recital without the child playing the Hungarian Rhapsody!
Robert Smith your little girl is actually very good a piano for her age I mean I learned to play this sort of thing when I was 5 and I found it difficult so well done to your daughter :)
Robert Smith When I was younger, don't think anybody in the family is at the level of giving a recital. Even playing "Twinkle Little Star" in front of relatives was a big deal. Kids who are enrolled in a Suzuki music program are required and encouraged to perform at least once a year in front of family & friends. She seemed to perform well under pressure and didn't show signs of stage fright.
Did anyone else think she'd burst into successive, fast-paced notes and blow your mind? But yeah, I definitely couldn't play like that when I was three. Go Hiyori!
Guys she's only three do you think it would be great for her to see rude comments. My gosh don't you guys have common sense if you do have common sense you might as well think that giving her rude comments would be hurtful for her. At least she can play the piano and make her dreams come true. You may not know that when she grew up she would be a professional pianist too.
👏👏👏👏 well said! Most 3 year olds r still using a pacifier and being a toddler learning to go in the potty this little girl is playing the piano! Its amazing n she is beautiful!
Sweetfly Rachel Mhm. :3 I remember, I played those songs when I was what.... 10? It's so cute, I mean her rests and timing is uneven, BUT WHO CARES SHE WAS ADORABLE RIGHT :D I see myself in her... I can tell she enjoys playing, even when its off.
DO NOT READ BECAUSE IT WILL SERIOUSLY WASTE YOUR TIME. LITERALLY IT MAKES NO SENSE BECAUSE I AM NOT STEREOTYPICAL ENOUGH AS AN ASIAN TO UNDERSTAND THE SIMPLEST JOKES AND COMMENTS. Morgan Woodward As an Asian, that's not exactly true. I did find what Spooks said humorous, because I do only one hour. XD Besides, the way you worded your comment is very... mis-leading to me (in a way). She may be in Japan, but anyone can be in Japan, and not be Japanese. So I'm guessing you meant to phrase it as "Well she is Japanese so I doubt it." But that doesn't make sense in itself. Because you said "But you know, every Asian stereotype is real. Idiot." And the first sentence you had was to be seen as "I don't think so." I'm pretty sure you meant "I don't doubt it" right? That would seem logically correct in my opinion, even if you meant every word even diagrammed above. Also calling someone an idiot doesn't make you smarter. I just got lost in this explanation >.> SORRY TO WASTE YOUR TIME
It is lovely to see such a young one playing her beginner pieces with such precision, grace and perfect concert etiquette. If I were her teacher I would be so proud!
often times when we turn on the internet we want to see outrageous things and unrealistic things, but i can't name a three year old who shows such an interest in music as this girl and who can play so well. she's a beautiful little girl :)
+Mr Flying Turtle I am amazed how many disrespectful people were present in the audience. They should have been thrown out for their ill manners. And then told "Never clap right after a performance again!"
+Zenury -- You clearly have absolutely NO sense of humor. I have lived in many countries in the world and I am familiar with many cultures and how they show appreciation of a performance. Only in the USA and Europe does the audience refrain from clapping in between Movements of a Concerto or Sonata. In other cultures, it is perfectly appropriate to applaud in the middle of a particularly difficult virtuoso passage. Still in other cultures, the audience can CLAP their hands or WAVE their arms in rhythm with a particular tempo. The bottomline is that -- it is WRONG for a person to criticize other cultures when their customs or reactions are quite different from his own. Plus, I think it is clearly stupid and idiotic for you to think that I am "clearly retarded." You might consider going to college and taking up Sense of Humor 101. If you pass the course, you will be a nicer human being than you ever thought possible.;-) And have a nice day!!!
I am just speechless. She is so young and so little. This is so adorable, so cute and she played it very well. Hats off....I pray to God that he blesses you and you become an incredible pianist one day (if you want to become one of course.)
Why are so many people disliking this? Is it that this girl isn't good as the four-year-old pianist you came here from? Don't expect too much from Asians. They can't do EVERYthing...
wher ever there's so much likes there 's so much dislikes.... but look at the good side the likes always more in these videos.. well haters would never disappear but i wonder why i meant its only one press at the like to make peole happy i wish the dislike button disappear.
😊Truly wonderful performance for someone so young. Sweet and innocent and with incredible bravery to go unaccompanied onto the stage at the age of just 3.
For a 3yr old, this is very good. Its no wonder if you read thru some comments, you can understand why some people, unfortunately, can not take it. They can ONLY see unnecessary other issues about the little girl other than her performance. What a pity?? There is a lot of hard work put into this performance. This girl knows where she is going, unlike others who even don't wear glasses!!!
Aww she is so cute and talented! She reminds me of my little brother Isaiah, who started playing the piano and singing when he was around her age. When he was a baby, the clock that played Westminster Chimes always used to freak him out, so he always woke up from his nap crying. But when he was around this little girl's age, the clock broke down because it was old and he started playing the song on the piano because he missed the clock so much. He said that it only freaked him out when he was a baby. Maybe when this little girl grows up, she and Isaiah, who is 11 years old now, can be piano playing partners. This girl looks like my little cousin, but only on the smaller side.
So sorry to see so many Asian remarks....grow up you guys! She has the sweetest little fingers. For a three year to be able to concentrate like this is so amazing.
The fact that she seems to have such a good grasp on dynamics and not just playing the notes at her age means she'll probably one day be a really great musician. Not many 3-year-olds can do this.
people, watch her other videos, then say she's bad. she is great and at 6 years old you can't do what she does. so stop hating and start listening. wake up.
Lovely play. So musical. I love it when she changes her position on the chair. Her arms are so small she can not reach the keys. Aaahhhh... P.S. She is Japanese, not Korean. Though Korean rock too ;)
I went from watching an elderly man playing, to three 30-40~ year olds, to a 20~ year old, to a 15~ year old, to a ten year old, to an 8 yeard old, to a 4 year old, then to this.... WHEN DOES IT END?!
This 3-year-old Hiyori Japanese Girl seems so polite and calms it's so wonderful and amazing ...(I'm sure that She has been trained by her mother to be polite )
i can't believe that a 3 years old is playing a piano that's awesome I can't do it and I'm 9 years old and I can't even do that that's awesome keep doing that little girl
First sge is adorable and second she's goona be so freaking amazing one day I'm sure I know how hard it is to be a musician and that it needs a lot of work !She's gonna do great things one day!!
Well done! Good job, teacher, too, because (1) she is having fun and smiling and not nervous or tense and (2) she is making MUSIC and is learning to be expressive and not just playing the correct keys. Good job!
She is really cute ^_^ acting like an older girl than she looksand it's amazing that she can play piano at this age ! now she is around 10 or 11 years old
Guys, she has LIVED for 3 years. 3 YEARS. She probably learned to walk not so long ago and is still learning to talk. She is still a toddler, and yet she plays with such emotion and enjoyment. If it was my kid up there, I would be extremely proud.
True, she is only three and her playing is somewhat what I would expect a pretty good three year old child can do on the piano. It's just that because it was on UA-cam with over 2 million views I was expecting something that would cause my jaw to drop. Let the truth be told she is not really playing the piano she is plunking the piano. But in any event I am sure her parents are proud even if she only plays one note.
Since your opinion is still so juvenile, I'd be willing to bet that you weren't potty-trained until at least 6th grade. Stuck in 'Caps Lock', the mark of a true genius...
People who say it's boring have little patience. She's three for god sake she's not grown up yet so of course it's not complicated. Plus she's adorable :3
OzLive, you and I are seeing Hiyori through the same window. She is a gifted child. And I believe that she can already read and write. The daughter of another Japanese friend of mine could read at 3 years old. Today at 11 Y/O she is in my opinion an accomplished pianist. And like Hiyori she is super adorable.
All you people hating on this little girl need to knock it off! I bet none of you play an instrument now, if you do I apologize but seriously shes only 3 all I could do at that age was twinkle twinkle little star and are you sleeping no scales or other things like she did, so leave her alone! Good job sweetie! You are amazing! :D
This 3 year old seems so polite and calm it's so wonderful to watch. My 4 year old sister is quite the opposite, she'd just climb the piano and hurt herself, blame it on the piano, and put a booger on it to mark her territory.
This made me laugh so much 😂😂
This comment made my day..😂😂😂
Hilarious comment made me lol so much!😂

Jan Herfs hahah me too .. ^.^
+Jan Herfs CRYING-laughing !!!

They have the right to post a video of their child's recital without the child playing the Hungarian Rhapsody!
Correct my friend! I think everyone was expecting her to play an incredibly advanced song.
***** O.K....
***** You are very honest
Robert Smith your little girl is actually very good a piano for her age I mean I learned to play this sort of thing when I was 5 and I found it difficult so well done to your daughter :)
Robert Smith When I was younger, don't think anybody in the family is at the level of giving a recital. Even playing "Twinkle Little Star" in front of relatives was a big deal. Did anyone else think she'd burst into successive, fast-paced notes and blow your mind?
But yeah, I definitely couldn't play like that when I was three. Go Hiyori!

Well she is in Japan so I doubt it. But you know, every asian stereotype is real. Idiot.
Morgan Woodward fuck off If you can't take a joke.

It's disrespectful to clap right after a performance
+Mr Flying Turtle I never actually knew that.

Hiyori is so sweet that you just want to give her a hug!
+Fred Chapman Oh yes ^^
How refreshingly lovely! Great dynamics :) Awesome articulation too! Thanks for sharing
She is so sweet. Congrats, little angel.
OH MY GOODNESS. The way she is playing is so adorable. She herself is adorable.
Each note filled with full sound of music this little musician performed absolute music simply the best !
😊Truly wonderful performance for someone so young. Sweet and innocent and with incredible bravery to go unaccompanied onto the stage at the age of just 3.
I'd be impressed if my kid cud have the patience to learn that. and she even learnt it by heart. The kid is good for her age.
Aw! This girl is so cute and her piano playing is really good for her age! 😊
OMG she is too precious unbelievable all of Her life she's been playing the piano Bless your little heart 2 want to entertain us

her piano playing is pretty good. if she played in 2010 and was 3 years old that makes her 9 right now
So pretty, so sweet! Sounds precious! (Wish I had started at her age.)
OMG , she is so cute. It's refreshing to see a NORMAL three year old for a change.
I love how she seems to be experimenting with the sounds she is making. Such discovery and exploration! A sensitive little piano player!
やばいこの曲懐かしすぎる!
こんなにちっちゃい子(今はもう大きくなったと思うけども)が弾いてると思うと可愛すぎるしうますぎる...
So sorry to see so many Asian remarks....grow up you guys! She has the sweetest little fingers. For a three year to be able to concentrate like this is so amazing.
3才だとは思えない!!結構上手いです。スゴイね!

She's so cute. I'm sure she'll fare well when she's older.
She's so cute! Good for 3 years!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I died of cuteness,
And so did you!
so cute and well played
That's pretty good for a 3 year old! Most kids aren't ready to start playing the piano until they're 6 or 7; usually when they are starting to read.
Just think about how good she'll be by the time she's 6 or 7, if she sticks with it!
I went from watching an elderly man playing, to three 30-40~ year olds, to a 20~ year old, to a 15~ year old, to a ten year old, to an 8 yeard old, to a 4 year old, then to this.... WHEN DOES IT END?!
I don't know at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it was a fetus and why are they all Asian!?
+Invader Zim they have cheat codes
Did you miss the one year old girl playing the piano?
Apparently xD
Wonderful!!!! I bet shes doing great things now
This 3-year-old Hiyori Japanese Girl seems so polite and calms it's so wonderful and amazing ...(I'm sure that She has been trained by her mother to be polite )

Wow finally a kid who's only a little bit better than me. Thanks for posting.....my confidence has been restored.
For such a young age this little Girl feels and knows the sequence of music it is in her soul she plays relaxed and with self awareness
Wow! She's only 3 and she got talent. Keep it up. Loved it!
how precious!...way too cute!
First sge is adorable and second she's goona be so freaking amazing one day I'm sure I know how hard it is to be a musician and that it needs a lot of work !She's gonna do great things one day!!
This is adorable!
Cute. 3 years old she only just learned to talk.
Well done! Good job, teacher, too, because (1) she is having fun and smiling and not nervous or tense and (2) she is making MUSIC and is learning to be expressive and not just playing the correct keys. Good job!

Love the chair. So cute.

So cute and so brilliant
Guys, she has LIVED for 3 years. 3 YEARS. She probably learned to walk not so long ago and is still learning to talk. She is still a toddler, and yet she plays with such emotion and enjoyment. If it was my kid up there, I would be extremely proud.
wait for 20 years, than hear this little girl...
How cute! Today she is 8 and I´m sure she plays another liga of music!
Aww!!! Great job Hiyori!! :)
Well even so, it would feel nice to hear it any time of your life that someone cares.
Do you see how she is watching herself in the reflection of the glossy piano? So cute.
True, she is only three and her playing is somewhat what I would expect a pretty good three year old child can do on the piano. It's just that because it was on UA-cam with over 2 million views I was expecting something that would cause my jaw to drop. check out how she played when she was 4, after a year. pretty amazing!
Wow this girl is going to go far! She's already playing at three! I started playing piano at 5
Since your opinion is still so juvenile, I'd be willing to bet that you weren't potty-trained until at least 6th grade. Stuck in 'Caps Lock', the mark of a true genius...
Well taught, has an excellent start, well done!
WOW. I learned how to do this stuff at 6. Shes a really good early learner!
Incrível! Um vídeo muito bonito de ver e ouvir. A dedicação que ela tem e a atenção ao tocar cada tecla é fenomenal!
Que Deus a abençoe!
People who say it's boring have little patience. She's three for god sake she's not grown up yet so of course it's not complicated. Plus she's adorable :3
