Strange name: sparring gloves, however i have been to thailand a few times for training and i have seen seasoned thai fighhters use them for clinch sparring but never regular sparring.
They're really nice for bag + clinching because you have a bit more control in the clinch than standard gloves and if you were just wearing wraps, you'd cut up your partner with the velcro.
Congrats Carlo for over 20k followers. The feedback and crack of bag mitts are addictive, but they really make sore knuckles. I prefer these old school bag gloves to the state-of-the-art bag gloves.
Just tried the XL and it was way too small. My hands are on the thin slightly long fingers. My fingers bottomed out way bad. I measure 8 1/2 from wrist to tip and 9 1/2 circumference. Wish they would have worked, I loved the amount of padding or lack of bulk and light feel. Oh well
Man sweetest bag mitts I've ever seen and yep Fairtex never disappoints!! Wondering if you're gonna do a video follow up on the Loma v Lopez match..man 😒😒😒
Hi thank you for the review. Can you share the measurements of your hand? Particularly the width from knuckle to knuckle (end to end)? The fairtex site size guide put me in a M which is surprising. I’m 5’11” and 190lb and I wouldn’t say I have small hands (measured 3.75” wide).
Ty for the content! wish i saw your vid a head of time. They do run a size smaller, but i’m guessing will eventual mold to my hand. thoughts on hand wraps with these gloves?
I love those and will use those any day but they don't fit my left knuckle so it just down on that and makes it real tight but I like almost anything about those gloves
I got these a couple of weeks ago in size large. I still wrap my hands and its a bit of a snug fit but i like it that way. Im 5'6 180, im more of a muay thai guy. Yeah brother you should have went with the large they feel great.
Congrats on 20k dude!!!! Carlo Jr. putting in work back there!! He's got a decent overhand right, but holds it a bit low... good right low kicks too...
Another great review, When it comes to my son ilove every thing fairtex .as far as my self i have very big hands so i wish they had gloves with a bigger pocket same problem i have with cleto rayes, but awesome review!
I belive tgt7 gives more wrist suport and they are more closed gloves. For ones Who don't Use biger and more protective gloves on heavy bag.. I decided for tgo3 becouse of price and I own bgv9 14oz for heavy bag.
No, thank you and your reviews. They are useful to People and some of Us like to see and watch about equipment.. I meant to buy tgt7 But I couldn't find any good option to make purchase.. Everything was 100$and up with shiping.
Would you recommend these as a second replacement pair after your first? My intro venum challenger 2.0 s are falling apart after a year and need an upgrade.
@@csquaredboxing If you were to get a Bag Glove with a budget up to 130$ what would u recommend overall ? Was looking at but not committed to (rival, fairtex, venum,).
Most of thai fighters fight under 70 kg so they use 8 oz boxing gloves in the fight maybe it calls super sparring gloves because they fight very often and sparring light
I asked a guy that works as a main producer of winning gloves in my country about venum hammer and he said they use fake leather not real nappa I was like for real??? Help me with this situation pleassse Carlo I really want the hammer
They’re described as nappa leather and feel and look like real leather. I would be concerned about this “guy” telling you correct information? I can tell you my car is made out of bed sheets but it doesn’t make it true.
Lil carlo lookin muy gwapo like his Tatay! Keep up the good work El campeon!
Thanks!

Yeah weird, but whatever lol as long as they perform well
@@csquaredboxing I agree with above I think it’s used for a quick transition of clinch sparring to bag work

thoughts on hand wraps with these gloves?
Thanks, as far as wraps go, they are more compact so it’ll be snug. I usually go bare hand with bag mitts
I love those and will use those any day but they don't fit my left knuckle so it just down on that and makes it real tight but I like almost anything about those gloves

Aye I knew that gym look familiar is that the one in Tempe??
would you still use wraps for bag gloves like these? planning to buy the rival rb 5 bag mitts which has much thinner padding.
No I don’t use wrap with bag mitts

Strange question. Can you hold light weights 1-5Kgs with this glove, Also do push ups or burpees using these gloves ?
Technically yes but Not really as the grip bar will get in the way. Push ups and burpees yeah sure
@@csquaredboxing can you do a test 🤣, and post a video up hehe

Maybe Raja would fit you better than fairtex all the Thai brands are making these type of bag gloves.
Perhaps
