Just found your videos, I bought some gourds from PMCA, they are the excluder ultimate gourds, just started trying trying to attract purple martins, your videos are very helpful, how high do you place your gourds, thanks for sharing, subscribed

What do you mean, how do I place them. I have 18, 3 levels of 6. I have 2 Horizontal Gourds on each level, on the straight arm. Breaks it up a little.

Great video Mark! I was trying to find a video or picture to see if the Troyer gourds had the inside porch or ladder and I ended back on your UA-cam! BTW I called Adam earlier and left a message for him to call me back.

Go to my video "Purple Martin Troyer Gourd System Complete Assembly 2018. You will see the added vents. The 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch pvc elbows I added. Watch the assembly.

@@manko717 yes I did watch that one already. In your opinion does one have more room in the inside, vertical vs horizontal?

@@robh5416 The Horizontal gourd just has a longer entrance tunnel. I'd say they are close in cavity size. It's really whatever you like, but if you have Owls you might go Horizontal. Harder to reach in.
