- Printing on fabric - After 2 years and a lot of contemplating I finally gave it another try. This time I'm doing a linoprint from one of my favorite anime "Nana" onto some tote bags and a shirt. Hope you guys like it :)

Thanks for filming this and for the info on water-based inks - very helpful since I want to print on fabric too. And don't give up on that first bag, just take out the stitches and sew it back right side up. You'll need a new hem but that's easy. Good luck in your art!

Your art is sick! I love your style! I took a printmaking class in college and loved it. I did this coi fish linocut that turned out really cool.
Glad to see I'm not the only one struggling to print on tote bags! Idk what to do with the ones I fucked up, I feel so bad they're just sitting around my house :(
Maybe use the back/insides for other test runs? Sell as seconds or misprints?
@@RhomanysRealm thanks, that's a good idea to use them for tests! I shall do that. Some of them are so bad I couldn't even sell them as misprints lol

how did you transfer the art onto the linoleum before carving it? is it just a print glued down? I couldn't really tell from watching you cutting it. Sorry if you said at some point and i missed it. Also the piece is super pretty

any tips on how to wash lino when is stamped on fabric?
I really loved Nana back when I watched it, made me sad the anime was unfinished, really need to read the manga because I really liked the characters. I liked how the shirt turned out, it looks very pretty especially those eyes. Another nice video :)

I have to admit that I only washed it once so far, but it didn't wash out yet. I hope that it stays on for longer though 👀
