You have the most epic advice and I really hope people listen to it. I’ve been making t-shirts for just over a year and I’m leaning and making mistakes along the way. If I was afraid of making a mistake, I probably would never have started.

No problem any time I love your art! I'm trying to get better at lino plus it's a great way to improve your linework and steadiness of your hand. Cause idk mine just shake a lot and it makes me like rawr cause it's almost perfect then boom one nick and it's just meh not perfect 😔 so then I end up redoing the whole thing 🤦‍♀😂. But I did finally complete 10 linos that I'm happy with and I made my first t-shirt two weeks ago and it came out surprisingly good ☺ yayaya 👯 @@KyleDarnellArt

Really nice short tutorial and awesome work! How come the pressure is equal even though the sleeves are folded maybe higher than the lino?

Is there some software that converted the Lil Wayne photo to something that was carving and stamp friendly?

do you have any tips on how to get the best possible result without using a press? I tried handprinting once and the results were ok, but a bit more patchy and blurry in some areas, due to the fabric shifting around slightly in some areas when printing.

Yeah without a press is difficult. But I have had some success with flipping the shirt inside out and placing the block on the inside. This makes it so there's only one layer of fabric that you need to hand print through. I've also just ran over it with my car. Need to put plywood around it to distribute pressure. Also spraying the shirt with a mist of water can help if you are using oil based ink

Thanks Kyle, I am helping my daughter by making shirts for her band. They did the block print using a 1/4" thick, pliable rubber material. I am having to use a lot of ink and still using a lot of hand held pressure, rolling it with a large heavy, 25 lbs steel pipe, I am getting very spotty results. Would it be better to have to block be linoleum? Thanks. Bart

It may just be too spongy to get even pressure. Regular linoleum would probably work better, but so would wood instead. It would at least be more consistent pressure. And I found when I'm hand printing shirts using a board works better than a roller some time. Helps distribute the weight evenly. Good luck

    I really like these t-shirts! Congratulations! :)
I have a question. What kind of board do you put on the t-shirt? For me, unfortunately, when I press the t-shirt, I double-print because the linoleum engraving jumps :( :( :( So I have to print them by hand, with a spoon. It's pretty tiring :D :D :D
