im Laguna Seca all the way, but i have fond memories of Road America. unlockable on TOCA World Touring Cars. probably one of the best racing games as far as track selection goes
I would love to see Autopolis, Assen TT, Kymiring, Magny Cours, Infineon (Sonoma), Mugello, Jerez, Buddh makes an appearance in the F1 2022 Fantasy season.
If the stadium section-like corner at the end of the lap had a slight banking, this track would be insane to race on. Also, it seems like I've fallen in love with Sector 2, especially the downhill section looks fun
I found this track on GT Sport and at first it was very painful, it's a very technical track (particularly the last sector). Now it's my fav Japanese track, even ahead of Suzuka and Fuji. And Michael himself DID race here.
One of the best tracks never to be used. F1 cannot always be about top speed. In 2023 if this track was given a chance then Aston Martin and Alonso could easily try and take a win on a track like this as Redbulls DRS strength would be nullified due to lack of long enough straights. F1 needs more tracks like these to ensure a more leveled outcome of race winners. Honestly, F1 organizers are idiots. All Japanese tracks are very technical. Suzuka, Fuji, Autopolis, Tsukuba. They must race there more often.

And that Donington race had senna’s “lap of the gods” where he went from P5 to P1 on the first lap in the rain.
The cause was that Nihon Autopolis Co., Ltd., which operated Autopolis, went bankrupt in 1992.

The reason why this track never held a race is logistics, Aida was held cause the guy who owned it had money before losing it in 95.
Preferred Aida but the remote location made certain it never lasted beyond the two years it was on the calendar (1994-1995).
