I’ve watched this routine like a lot of times. She has such quality on this event despite such low difficulty.

She is the most beautiful to watch, very elegant, beautiful moments, she is the only one who brings the artistic part in her movements!. I hope she can add more difficult vaults because she has been totally underscored in floor, she needs to add a more difficult.
She's my favorite gymnast for this exact reason. She is a dream to watch on beam and bars as well. For vault tho, she doesn't need anything more difficult than her current DTY because we would only use her as an emergency backup vault. So a 14.2 DTY backup vault is excellent. It's truly her bars and beam that we need.
Her score was actually well in line with her performance. Keep in mind that she's only doing three tumbling passes when everyone else is doing four. That greatly decreases her D score. She got a decent number for her execution (pretty much comparable with most of the top finishers), but she's sacrificing at least half a point. Not that Suni ever had the most difficult FX program (her program from the Olympics AA final was 5.6) but by only doing three passes, she's taking herself out of competition for FX (and AA).

So elegant and lovely routine but did seem a bit underwhelming as far as difficulty but I love her regardless and know she will be participating in Paris 2024 ❤
They are being VERY SMART. She doesn't need to do her full D right now and risk injury.

Such a great routine for this point in her comeback journey. I hope to see her upgrade to a double double and a switch full. If she can also connect the double L turn to a double pirouette she can have a 5.6 D score. The double double could save her a 0.1-0.3 deduction for piking

after i saw this routine i was interested to see how close she was to getting over kayla, undeniably clean in this even if she doesnt have the difficulty
Unfortunately, the D score isnt there. Kinda thinking she might add in her silvas, if she can get it back, her D score will be solid across the board
@@TM-tmm yeah I def thought he e score could’ve been higher compared to some other routines at champs but it’s prob realistic to what she’d score internationally.
Why did she receive such a low score? I think it's cause her difficulty needs raised here? I mean to my eye, this looks really beautiful, but ooook..
Her difficulty here is only a 5.2 which is very low. She actually received one of the highest execution scores of the night

She took out one pass. I think it is great. She just need to get herself to trials before she restores her full difficulty.

This is not low at all! Her "FIG's favorite turn" was not quite controlled. Her double L turn was not good.
If she exchanges one of her C leaps for a Silivas (H), her D score will go up by .5. If she can tighten two of her landings, her E-score will go back up .3-.5, but she will like likely lose .1 on the Silivas. She will likely get 13.9-14.2 at her full difficulty. (Note: She got 14.2 at 2019 worlds for a similar routine and the CoP for FX wasn't that different)

Why is her d score a 5.2 and not 5.4? Is she not being credited a double L turn
We need to give up on that L turn and just do a well-done C skill instead
Very good on the landings. The turn execution is not as good as her tumbling. She should consider a split jump 1/1 instead of a double L turn, but probably she won't because the judges may give nonexistent dance element credits like candies at Olympic trial.
If Suni added back a 4th pass, what would her start value be? Just curious
She's probably going to keep 3 passes, but possibly add back in her double double, keep her double layout, and end with her 1.5 to front full. Her difficulty would be 5.6 instead of 5.2.
@@Andrew-pf5fjI don’t think she’ll end with 1.5 + front full though. She won’t get the 0.2 D+ dismount bonus for that
@@kogaandpurriends7394 oh good point. I’m kind of doubting she’s going to be able to get 4 passes back, so she may just stick to her current routine. Which is fine.. it’s more important she focuses on getting her bar difficulty than floor

@@kogaandpurriends7394 I don't think they'd put the extra stress on her for 0.1 extra. I don't think she's going for AA at this point. Which is fine, she can make the team with bars/beam alone.
