    Hi guys, I’ve actually just bought these from another authorized Oakley dealer in Desert Tan frames with gold mirror transition ANSI Z87 lenses. They come in Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, Green mirror tint by the way! They are stamped! They are also polarized plus they’re in my prescription. I would have bought them from guys but I wanted the tan and the mirror tint transition which you do not carry for some reason.

    I purchase these SI Det Cord through SportRX. And now my lens are scratched. I called them, SportRX, and they said they can’t order the lens only. They tried selling me the prescription lens for my Det Cord. Which I don’t want. I just want my dark lens replace with the Z87 stamp on it.

      Hi Ray! Unfortunately we cannot get non-rx replacement lenses from Oakley. We can only get prescription replacement lenses. There are other stores you can get non-rx lenses from online but it is unlikely they would be stamped.

    Does the full-wrap on these count as side shields? I need side coverage for work. Thanks.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  5 років тому

      Hi there! The Det Cord does meet standard ANSI ratings and the wrap and thick temples provide great coverage but your workplace may have more specific ratings for side shield coverage. We would recommend contacting one of our certified opticians so they can make sure these glasses meet ALL of the specific requirements of your job. You can reach them here: www.sportrx.com/contact

    Will the Oakley edge lens be available in the frame in the future ? My prescription is just a little too strong for the standard lens.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  6 років тому +1

      That is a great question. We unfortunately are not sure when Oakley's edge technology will be available in safety rated frames with prescription. However if you send us a copy of your prescription to info@sportrx.com , our opticians will be happy to help figure out the best alternative to your request.

    • @sportrxeyewear

      Hi Samuel! When you say black lenses do you mean grey? Because the Det Cord is a safety rated frame and therefore requires a safety rated lens, Oakley doesn't offer many lens options under their Prizm catelogue of lenses. The closest option would be the Prizm Grey lens.
