I wish this had existed when I bought mine! I might not have bought the ones I did. You didn't review the ones I got though. I ended up with VR lens lab but that was because I Liked VRcover soo much and they have some sort of partnership or connection. There were others you missed too. Widmo, and VR optician. I really considered the widmo because they have a hard solid cover so I wouldn't need a lens cover.
Yeah there is several more out now and I didn't have them all to compare, Hons VR is a new one I've seen too. VR Rock are the cheapest of all of them I've seen and looking at the others it still seems like Reloptix would be a top contender against anyone. They pack a lot of value into theirs and they don't charge more even for extreme prescriptions.
The review video I have waiting for. Great job in putting the options out there. If you have a strong prescription I would encourage entering the numbers into the various sites. I have been surprised at the difference found. Thanks for your continued hard work.
That's another spot Reloptix wins, they keep the same price no matter how extreme the prescription gets. They said it costs them money on the extreme ones but the easy ones like mine make up for it.
@@jaybratt They are the ones I am going to for my next pair. The price for my stronger prescription with Blue Light and scratch resistant cannot be topped.
Well, I don't even have my quest 2 yet, but I've already ordered the Reloptix. Tip if you have an FSA account, I would check if it qualifies, and you can reimbursed for buying them
this will be useful to me because i am probably soon going to get glasses, i can always count on jaybratt for my eyes which are in terrible, terrible condition
Glad to be here for you! You should get into a battle with Nat about who has worse eye sight, Idk why she always wants to win that game LOL. Isn't winning... losing?
I looked at Hons and they were $49.95 without any prescription. I tried the mildest RX 0.25 and it added $5 per lens making them more than the VR Rock. I wonder if prices have gone up.

I would have added a test on how close to the nose bridge they get as some of them look like they have some chonky borders! Which might also reduce fov as well.
I ordered my set of Reloptix and they've been fantastic. Though, I think the fancy pelican style case is for content creators, I just got a shipping bag with clear and white shell case with the lenses in separate cloth bags. Not a complaint, but after seeing it in so many reviews, I guess I had my hopes up. But nevertheless, don't let that stop you. You still get a great pair of lenses to rock with your VR Set.
@@jaybratt Perhaps. I kinda hope not. But if it has to do anything with making the end product cheaper, I'm fine with it. Though I just emailed them in hopes that I could by chance get the black case. Great video btw. Gotta sub here man.
Is there a lens that helps correct your IPD alignment if it's between the quest 2 presets? Not sure if it's even possible but that would be a nice feature.
Not that I know of sadly. You can adjust the actual lenses in between and get them to stay there to help but a good hard turn can slip them back over. A device that locked them in place would at least give you that option.
You'd want it for your longer distance because VR simulated distance is usually around 16 ft. You should ask Reloptix if you go with them though because I've heard they make multi distance ones.
Darn I was hoping VR Optician lenses were going to be included in this round up. They seem to be the most highly recommended ones and what I'm rocking at the moment so I'd love to have it included as a comparison point. Maybe a part 2 someday? :D
@@jaybratt I got a set of WidmoVR for my Rift-S a few years ago, still using them in my Quest-2 (same lens housings), very pleased with them. I've also had (have) VR Lens Labs and VR Optician inserts for various HMDs, both of those were also very good. I had ordered a set of VR Rock for my Reverb G2v2 and was very displeased, their housing were rubber instead of plastic, so the housing would wobble onto the G2's lenses so no accuracy for placing them and the lenses would pop out of the rubber housings when trying to clean them making it impossible to get them back into the housings without having to clean them again, I got so frustrated with these things I purposely stepped on one smashing it to bits and ordered a set of VR Lens Labs for my G2, been happy ever since. Sorry, but for me, I will never buy from VR Rock again.
I’ve been thinking about getting blue light filter lenses for my headset, not sure how worth it is though since I don’t usually play for extremely long sessions and I’m poor XD
Yes, none of them affected my field of view. The distance from your eyes to the actual screen in the quest makes it hard to make the fov any smaller. Switching from glasses to these gets your eyes closer to the lenses which will also increase your field of view nicely
@@jaybratt not yet, I got eyes surgery a couple of months ago and I had to wait for my eyesight to stabilized before having my new prescription. I'm getting my new glasses this saturday the 25th ^^ I'll get my real prescription at the same time. So i'll order them soon 🙂

I completely agree, and figured they'd be the winner. I bought an extra set of adapters for my son's headset so I can quickly move "my eyes" from one to the other. He's sensitive to everything and doesn't even notice them. 😁
That depends. For me they never touch my nose because I have the ipd as wide as possible. For people with narrower ipd some have to use the glasses spacer to keep them away from their nose
I'm looking at it myself! It would just be so nice with how much I'm in and out of VR. Also just to wake up and see as well as I did just a few years ago! I miss those days. Poor Nat has had glasses her whole life though. I keep telling her to consider lasik as it would change her whole life!
