It’s almost like other companies that design VR stuff don’t actually have VR users working there, and only bobo does. They’re one of the few that make things to make sense.

I am helping 3 friends build their Q2 rigs. After playing with my Q2 5 of my friends asked Santa for Q2's for Christmas. Three of them got one. The other 2 will be looking for theirs's on birthdays. Now, I am working with them to get the most comfortable and dynamic system. I had recommended the Bionik headset. Now, I am recommending this BOBOVR A2 set, (and I haven't even tried it out personally!) All 3 of them have the M2 Pro Plus and the F2 ordered or received.

BOBOVR truly do seem like the King of Quest accessories. Kiwi is great as well don't get me wrong, but the m2 plus being almost perfect, the f2 upgrade being awesome for comfort and foggy lenses and now the a2 seemingly being awesome for audio just confirms to me that I made the right choice in giving their products a shot. Good stuff!
I agree! Kiwi has some good ones too but Bobo just keeps stacking on the winners. If they make grips idk what I'll do then LOL
what’s the difference from the m2 pro and plus
Pro has a more solid rear end, plus has that new squishy round rear head piece that fits more head shapes. If you have a pro and it fits that's great. If you don't have either I'd get the plus just because it's more adaptable.

Bought the Bionic Mantis a month ago- didn't like them. bought the Conquest VR 2 weeks ago- ok but not for me. just ordered the Bobovr A2. I am excited ! Bobovr has never let me down. Love their products. My set up - Quest 2, M2+, F2 upgrade and now the A2 headphones. My charging dock , which hangs on the wall has 3 magnetic charging cables with it. so i can charge the headset, the F2 fan and now the A2 headphones all at the same time. Charge my 3 Bobo batteries on their own charging pad. I am also sporting the VR Wave prescription lenses. If I only had a 3way c splitter, I would live in the VR world forever!
I hear you. the Mantis were fine for me for a while, Conquest wouldn't even stay on the freaking headset LOL but A2 is where I'm happy to be. One small power hack, the boboVR battery can also put power out the top USB C port so you can charge at least 2 things at once right now with a second cable. :)

Glad that I got mine ordered last night on a whim after watching your video, didn't think they would be out of stock this morning! These look incredible. I just hope there's a way I'll be able to charge both my bobovr fan and the headphones at the same time.
The BoboVR battery pack can charge two things at once. One with the battery strap cable, and a second with the USB C port on top. Maybe that will help?
@@jaybratt That should definitely work. I'll probably end up keeping the battery strap powering the oculus and just switch between charging the fan and headphones every play session, it should be fine with how long they last.
Friggin Bobo! The moment I saw their Ad on them, I knew you're take on them wouldn't be far behind and it did not dissapoint! I've also used a bunch of different audio solutions and these look good enough that I'd spend to have a full Bobo setup. They continue to be the standard for Quest 2 headset accessories.

"Mutes only one way you can still be heard"Great review Jay as always ! Nearly went for the manta headphones but as soon as you mentioned bobovr had something in the pipeline I waited. I now have a set and they are great pleased I waited don't think there is anything that you have recommended not been as good as you have said love your honest reviews and efforts you put into this. Only 2 things I came across not major the mute function works but only what you hear is muted as I play mulitiplayer games it only mutes one way so if on a phone be aware other players can still hear you it just mutes the audio out. The 2nd one is looking at the cads of the quest 3 this design would not be compatible as the type c connection is on the strap that's if the q3 goes with that design and if your going to get a q3 this year maybe a bad move? Luckily for me I can hand this down to my daughter. Let us know if anyone has the same issue on the mute and its not just my set please. TANKS AGAIN FOR YHE GREAT WORK YOU DO AND THE MONEY YOU SAVE US ALL!

Haha, I actually try to respond to every comment but I'm about 6 months behind :( I do respond to the new ones on new videos for at least an hour if I can.
Been waiting a while for Bobo to come out with an audio solution, to the point of emailing them myself asking for when lol. The only thing I would have preferred to see at least passthrough power from the headphones to the Quest, but even more ideally use the USB from the quest to the headphones for audio as well, eliminating the one (albeit tiny) headphone cable. I've gotten used to the stock audio, I may just wait until BOBO comes out with the likely inevitable Pro or "improved" version like they've done with nearly all their stuff.

Would have preferred if it had the USB-C plug with charging pass through, but it definitely could be worse.
Although with using USB passthrough it would eliminate the possibility of using these with a link cable as I believe there isn't a way to use USB c audio and link at the same time
To be honest, I like them a lot..but the fact that I have to charge them it's a letdown for me..I really don't like the idea to mess with more cables while trading off the ease of use of the M2 plus + batteries..I hope they will make in the future a lesser version without the charging part. As always nice review!

I bought the Conquests Pro headphones after a review I saw on them but I'm really disappointed in how fast they fell apart. I had to use zip ties to hold them together so I can use them. They sound great but are really fragile for how extremely expensive they are.
Loved your review on these from BOBOVR and I'm buying a set for both my wife and I based on your review.

I feel like I've "Been Had" and I hate that feeling.
I hope they include spacers for their headphones in the future because I don’t want the speaker to be on my ear while I game or workout. Mainly play gorilla tag and I been hooked to it. I think I might create 3D printed spacers and sell them on Etsy. Probably different spacing sizes depending on how close you want them to your ear. Idk could I possibly get and ideas or add ons? I currently don’t have one of these headphones still waiting for it to go back in stock hope it doesn’t take too long.

Taking them off and on isn't too hard once you get used to it, at least on the M2 style straps. On elite straps it's a bit harder due to the thickening pad which really hangs onto straps.

3D printing goes a long ways but these are great! So stable!
What are your 3d printed ones? I tried designing a clip on cup style to just direct the quest 2 audio more towards your ear. It worked but meh

I fully agree! For now you can use the top USB c on the battery itself to charge it also. It can output power through both ends :)

Yes, one cable from the strap going to one and another cable from the USB C on top of the battery going to the other. The batteries can put power out both ends at the same time. A neat detail!

I dismantled some Marshall 2 headphones and permanently attached to bobo vr and kiwi elite strap. Wonder how these compare? The only issue I have with the Marshall's is I cannot quickly take them off.

I know, original leaks look like it might but people are pointing to a potential USB C port that could get in the way.
I recently picked up the quest 2 and was really missing my deluxe audio strap from my quest 1. I ended up getting a nice pair of wired earbuds because they don’t make anything like this that work really well with he bobovr plus…. Until now! Instant order from me and returning those earbuds that I don’t have a device to use them with.
You didn't do the most important comparison. How does it compare to the index in terms of sound quality and positional sound?

Probably going to get them, I'd love some better audio with minimal hassle and they just look like that to me.
That VR looks cool 🤩 that headphones is perfect for me if have VR ☺️, because sometimes my left ear aches everytime I use headphones so that this VR will be perfect for me I can adjust the headphones everytime my left ear aches.

W Upgrade I was stuck using Beats Studio 3s. Now I have some real options.

1. Is it safe to leave them charging after full charged?
2. Do you need a battery strap to balance the audio weight?
Maybe a stupid question. What case do you use to store your meta 2 with the bobovr headset + battery + headphones + grips? I'm new to vr gaming. But now i have the same setup as yours :) i need a case to store all this when i vist my son in the WE. I can throw everything in a backpack but it's not very secure :)

I just received mine today. I watched your video this morning and I was quite anxious for them to arrive after seeing your review.
They are great, but there is one MAJOR issue with them that was not discussed in the video. With the headphones attached, they no longer fit in the Bobovr C2 carrying case. This really sucks because I just bought the case because of the Bobovr M2 headstrap and love it. I was hoping there was enough wiggle room in the case to get them to fit, but I couldn't do it. So, if you keep your VR headset in the case to keep it protected between playing sessions like I do, you're going to have to remove the headphones every time. They attach pretty tight and I am terrified of breaking something in order to take them off or put them back on.
At least for me this is an issue, maybe for everyone else it's not.
You know I NEVER use a case for mine (I know, bad) so I didn't think about testing this and one of the first comments asked about it. I was sad to see it didn't fit but it's no surprise either. They didn't make enough room in the C2 for really any headphones and only my weird etsy speakers BARELY fit. I'm sure they'll come out with another case for it but that's ANOTHER expense then :(
I like my Kiwi elite strap with a built in battery pack a lot better. Idk, this strap feels like too much weight on my head. I feel like it’s gonna give me a migraine just by wearing it… I like the way the Kiwi strap feels on my head. it’s got a nice smooth foam leather cushion… I love it.
So I’m trying to figure out the best headset for our quest two. My grandson is 11 he plays it a lot. I play it some but I wear glasses and it’s very uncomfortable for my face but I’m trying to find out what headset is the most comfortable that it doesn’t feel like it’s putting a lot of pressure on head/face. I’m not worried about the battery not worried about the sound. Just need a good comfortable headset.
What would you suggest is the best straps for tilting upward? As a developer I have been getting tired of taking the entire headset off each time I make changes so have been looking for alternate head straps.
for exercise I just use 2.1 dedicated big floor speakers in my play space. (just run an audio cable to them). nothing beat the feeling of big basssss speaker
Really excited to get these. They look incredible. My only remaining question is: what cases do these fit in? Do they fit in the c2? If not, can we expect a new case that fits everything?
And ofc Im excited to see what else bobovr has in store for us. I hope they revisit a dock solution. Im still waiting on some company, doesnt matter which, to make a good dock solution with grips combo that have pass through charging.
Sadly they do not fit in the case. They made them fit all head straps which made them WIDE! Nearly one inch on either side and you can't close the case around that. I haven't heard of a C2 Plus case YET but I wouldn't be surprised if they made a nice one for everything. Also a D2 Plus dock would be awesome but I think with the twin charger they don't see as much need for a dock.
@@jaybratt my thing about the twin chargers is, sure, they charge the batteries which can keep the quest charged, but there are up sides to a dock like having a place to display the quest, controller charging, and that adapter from the d2 that had link passthrough.
I know what you mean. I still display mine on my custom JayBratt auras because I feel like they deserve a throne lol

I added a comment to the other video as well, but I'd love to know how these fit on the KKCOBVR Infared strap, if at all. I need a built in solution for that strap. but I don't think that these or the A2 Air's are going to do it.

You'd have to take them off sadly. They're just too wide now.

Just got mine yesterday and of course they were broken, kept hearing a popping and clicking sound when they were turned on and when they were plugged into the quest there was a constant static sound. Going to return and replace them, hoping that was just a one in a million.
What are those pink joystick grips you use on your controller? I'm quite picky with them and haven't been able to find some to settle on

Bobovr do it again. Now fingers crossed I can get it in Northern Ireland. Postage is a pain from amazon sometimes and so far bobovr has been the hardest due to the batterys.

I agree on best option but sadly no on the case. They made them too wide to accommodate all head straps and with nearly an inch on either side they can't fit.
damn i need this xD Bobo vr really makes the best quest2 stuff. i am also using their fan along with their elite halo battery strap with a battery. Question thou can it be used in a way where they don't touch my ears? The main reason I have preferred to use the quests audio is that (A) I have a cat that sometimes want attention during VR so I like to be aware of what's going on around me and (B) somehow it feels less immersive to me when I have headsets on.
I'm sorry if someone has already asked this, I didn't see it. I'm currently using Massdrop pc38x mainly for playing multiplayer FPS, which has amazing audio with spatial audio for locating enemy players. I'm curious if these offer the same?
I tried closing my eyes in Pistol Whip and seeing if I could dodge the bullets with just the sound and it worked. That said I haven't tried the headphones you mentioned ever so I can't fully compare.
I need these and am shattered I can find them on amazon or aliexpress while im so hyped.

I decided to go with the soundcore buds. They sound great and are perfect for my needs. Then I spoiled myself with them and now the stock audio definitely isn't as good as it was before I tried external buds. 😁
I totally agree!! That stock audio seems ok and many people tell me it's "fine" but the minute you try something better it's SO hard to go back! lol

Question is, how does the sound compare to Reverb G2 or Valve Index?
I've been doing stock audio this whole time and never felt the need to try a different audio solution. This however has me quite intrigued... When bobo releases a product they have my attention full stop. My only concern is the added weight might add even more strain on my bad neck 🤔 this will be a tough decision
Did you ever try it? I'm curious. My neck gets a little angry with VR too. We need to discover lighter weight battery tech, that's even the main size and weight in our phones.

In terms of battery solutions, I wouldn't mind an external battery wired to some place on my upper body... Maybe slung diagonally across one shoulder and waist like a sash? The headset would have to be well balanced without the battery though

I like them better than the DAS sound. Most likely because these are actually amped. If the DAS had an amp it would likely sound better though.

nice, i waited for them , will buy for sure, but i will to ask few things , can you use it and do not have any pads ?, just pure plastic ? , and how wide is quest 2 now ? , i have bobo vr m2 pro, and it hardly fit, i do have few cm free so i hope it will fit
I tried it without pads and it's plasticky so not comfortable. I did try putting some padding in the crack to make them off ear and in that case I took the pad off to leave more off ear space.
They add a significant amount more width (nearly 2 inches total). I can NO LONGER get it into the BoboVR C2 Case :(

As far as audio solutions, go for the quest 2…How is the soundcore VR P10 Wireless Gaming Earbuds not the king. What’s your comparison opinion?
I mean those things, and others like it, kind of just looks like a serious chunks of weight.
When you can have a seriously high quality almost 0 latency connection with quality earbuds.
i got the chorus and was disipointed that they didn't for on the m2 plus and im watching this and could be a life saver
Yeah the chorus were a big disappointment to me. Not only the fit but they started having problems quickly where I had to unplug them every time I went to use them.
