This is haunting and beautiful. I recall Alexi saying once in an interview that 'no one else wanted to do vocals so fuck it, I'll do it whatever'. COB is my fav of all time I'm pretty sure \m/
Wow this is awesome So raw. You can tell he had abit of a drink before the sessions the way he slurs abit an all The laughs after they shout “blooddrunk” got me
in 1:50 what is these guitar ultra bassed? Alexi wasn't play with 8 strings guitar, these tuning is unusual. anyone know that is? is a guitar octaved down or what?
Using his pickup with the boost in it, drop-D tuning with 56-11 cauge strings is just a massive sound right there. Not to mention the rest of the gear doing its job.
The difference between AYDY and BD is insane, you can tell he really messed his voice up during the record of AYDY, maybe that explains why the tour for blooddrunk was so bad
@@krabuh Alcohol. Lots of it. Lots and lots of it. Ever heard that artists will incorporate their art as much as possible? if I remember right, one of the stories about AYDY(album) is that for Are You Dead Yet(song), Alexi drank non-stop for days on end and drank more than he'd ever done before, so he could get his vocals to sound he wanted (which was probably like someone completely miserable and hopeless i guess).
@@BRZkomarov Yes, but alcohol wouldn't cause that massive of a vocal change if any discernable change at all in his tonality. I suppose the level of drunk-ness would change how much restraint he has in his vocals, probably didn't restrain himself and went too hard.

Probably. But vocals like these are always gonna be slurry, it's a different technique than singing clean.
8:42 and 9:22 can anyone else hear that they laugh?😁
I f….. love COB and Alexi! thanks this video!!🤘🥹
I’ve been looking for isolated vocals for years! This is rad! Thank you.
Awsome job man ! Thanks a lot
This is fucking awesome, how did you get a hold of these?
The Guitar Hero community
Can you do it with other albums? HCDR for example?
I wish I could say yes but unfortunately these are the only ones available.
@@MisterMaster95 Sad. I love Alexi's screams/vocals from 2003/2004. Thanks for the answer!:)
Dude yes
Yoo, could you share origin files? Or just make us couple of good backingtracks :)
Cky sketched on the guitar is crazyyyy
Bam Margera carved that into the guitar when he was hanging out with HIM and Alexi in Finland
@@jasonsmall839 bro i know they hung out with him alot but thats like sick as fuck two of.my.fav bands cky and cobhc

He's playing with the floyd rose, It's easy to do if you pick open strings with one hand and lower the bridge with the other one
Iam a guitarrist and these not sound lika a normal guitar droped down with the floyd rose

I'm a guitar player too...

palm muted notes played with one hand while dropping the floyd with the other
do you have the voice without the pads anywhere?
Why censored?
they were probably censored by GuitarHero since the tracks were originally ripped from that videogame

What are you talking about, the vocals on blooddrunk are great
@@STEVE-ki9th Yes, but there is a clear difference in his tonality and power
