I'm glad you explained the vibration aspect. I always thought the "vibration thing" was strictly a feel/comfort trait of a bow. I know now that it has to do with energy transfer efficiency. Thanks.
Thanks for this one! I currently shoot a v3x, but I did order a unite in the beginning of March, still waiting on it. Seems like the new unite was shipped out in one big group recently,
Someone should speed test all the bows and put it on a spreadsheet or something. Or better come up with a better ibo standard. Kinda ridiculous how far off the speeds are.
Whether it’s relevant or not, Dud worked for Mathew’s and Hoyt. The unite has Mathew’s ish cable splitter, and a Hoyt style pic rail. Interesting to see different tech rolled into a bow.
Hey man love the video’s. It may just be on my end , but the last couple videos you have released the audio is a little messed up. Sounds like you are in a can. Just wanted to bring it to your attention. Keep the videos coming
@mfjj I get your comment that vibration signals energy not ending up in the arrow…but for dead-feeling bows isn’t roughly the same amount of energy just dying in the various vibration dampening add-ons (all the rubbery stuff) vs ending up pushing the arrow???
Hey Josh, bit of constructive criticism. Why does your audio only go through one ear for the first 4 minutes of the video? Great video overall. Straight to the point, no wasted time. I really like this line of bows. The levitate and the unite seem great. Now for a rant you don't need to read: I wish I had a bow shop technician like Josh. I have plans to move east in a year and a half. My issue is the place my dad went, which led to the place me and my brothers went takes draw length as a set distance based on your wingspan. But our bodies are all weird. I don't know what measurement is weird on us, but my brother got a no cam htr (he's 6'4"), I had a switchback. We decide to play with our draw lengths which basically just meant leaving our old technician behind. My brother picks up a Mathews Atlas. I take his old bow. At max draw length (30"), I can now lock my arm, but my chest is still super condensed. I can bend my arm and expand my chest and my pin becomes more stable. I'm deadly out to 40 now. Just so annoying because now I know I need 30.5 or maybe even 31, but I can't even play with it. Just pisses me off how much money we've wasted.
I have found out that different manufacturers use different material strings, and I've seen nocks fit too tight on the strings and make it that it shoots 10 - 25fps slower or more because of it. Bet my life on it. #Checknockfit

I appreciate the thorough review. I appreciate the unbiased opinions on each bow you’re reviewing.
Really appreciating your videos of late, very honest and fair reviews. 👍
Clear, concise, to the point straightforward facts without all the geeked out minutiae. Thank you so much.
Another great review. keep them coming and also loving the fireside chats
Love this videos and PSE is one of my favourite bow brands
I'm totally 2 vane...ing a Unite. I was stoked for this. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing talent and knowledge
Truly a Blessing
Awesome bow great review thanks for the reviews you do
Another great review Josh!!
Thanks for the review…love the color 👌🏻

Also using a multi weight arrows in your test would be awesome to see especially to see if it would affect the felt vibration also
Would love to see a review on that new LCA Revolution vise
Nice review, PSE makes a good bow.

Not ridiculous for this bow! It wasn’t maxed out on poundage it was lowest poundage settin I ever seen Mfj test at 69.5
Good to see this one!
My last years model Evo XF 33 has the drilled spot for the hamskea rest. Maybe they added it after you had one.

Remember that bow was 1/2 pound which will add some speed

Thank you for the test.
Could you test the darton vegas?
It's a sharp looking bow.
Thank you.
What vise is that?
Have you seen problems with bowtechs composite limb pockets?
Do you know if they use machines to shoot the bow for the speed Test? Do you think that’s why they get different results.
Dudley deleted the "Doinker" (Kill Shok Riser Mounted Damper) that is on the PSE Fortis models, so if you are obsessed with vibration get the Fortis.
Is that the same as the fortis ?

Correct!
Do you check the clearance or contact of the string suppressor before measuring for vibration.
No , he’s more worried about reflex lol, that’s not even a thing
You should take that arrow to a shop they can put a new fletching on for you

I get the same thing with it being in my right ear. Would love to see it fixed. The podcasts with Tim dont have that issue.
Yeah it's not the first time he have sound issue. I hope they will fix it soon hahaha sound like 1980
Well.. I'm getting 322 with a 400gr arrow on my 33 phase 4.. but it's set at 75lbs 31.5 draw
This bow would be about 10fps faster than urs if it had 75lbs and 31.5 draw
What's the purpose of the reflex measurement? How does it affect the performance?
The more reflex a riser has the easy it is to cause torque with your grip.
