If this is your usual review style...it's great! You give information that I haven't heard other reviewers (who are good reviewers) point out. Thank you. I reviewed the part of the video where you give the measurements 3 times, but not sure if I got the right measurement on the right part. Are you saying that the 44" is the height of the stem when it's set up?

I’ve had this scooter for a year and it is quite solid. I’ve beaten it up on New York City streets and the only problem is the rear tire needed to be changed 9 months in. I do agree the speed is definitely off. When it indicates 20mph, I see Segway Ninebot ES2s pass me and they’re also rated at 20mph. I have that scooter myself and it’s definitely faster. Ninebot Maxes just blow past me.
I personally don’t miss the speed that much.
My experience with their customer service has been amazing. They’re very responsive and really polite. They work like a brand that relies more on word of mouth.
One thing I’ll say overall I come to believe using cruise control on an E-scooter is a really bad idea. From personal experience, if something happens and you’re trying to recover, the scooter maintaining its speed unless you can get your thumb back on the break can be a bad situation when split seconds matter.
How much do you weigh??
Has the bottom of the deck hit the floor at any time? That's my main worry since it seems pretty close to the ground

@@joellee6142unless I got a defective one, it’s definitely not faster. I can’t compare which is better built but the S2 max is very well built. The solid tire is just impossible in an urban environment

I think you'll be fine, just don't expect top speeds though.
My son is 5'9 weighs 235lbs it hauls him around at or near top speed no problem..

Good review. I may have missed it but very few of these type of videos comment on how the scooter is to push. Does the rear wheel drag or can you push the scooterÉ Im not able to carry it all the way down the halls in my building and Im not sure folks would like me riding it so can I push it? 100 yards? I keep asking this question and people avoid answering. 3 times now my post got a like but no answer. Can you push it? LOL
I just got mine today and it's an updated version. My charger connector is a single waterproof plug not a door. Also my tires are tubes and it came with two spares.

Im new to scooters and what I find is nobody talks about what they are like to push. For example, I know I can fold it, ride it and bring it in my apt but I doubt I can carry it all the way down the hall and they may not like me riding it indoors. If you push it does the front wheel drag or freewheel like a bicycle? Stuff like that matters to me at least. Anybody? Does the front wheel roll easy? thx Great review, I'm excited to ride one at 63 yrs of age I think It will be fun.
Yes you can push and walk with the scooter easy.
Pretty good review but extremely important info was left out the scooter does have zero start@ the Tim's are split for easy tire chg no tire spoon needed.😊

G30P is simmilar to S2 Max. 500W motor and 556wH battery but Ninebot G30P has 551wH battery. G30P uses metal but S2 Max uses aluminum.
Did you ever able to figure out the map? Mine is still in China as well?!
I haven't messed with the app in a couple months, but I'll test it and let you know soon.

When you get it replaced tho, get a really strong tire liner to protect the new tube. Don't put the original tube in, the replacement. Get a new brand.
What happens when the battery dies? How are you going to replace it. I got a S2R and the battery is replaceable.
I bought the s2 pro. So apparently what I've learned is even if you take it for a short trip you always just want to make sure it is fully charged after every single time you come home
