Blue cheese… Shudder! Tastes like mold, and not in a good way! Can’t help it. I’ve tried for 70 years to like it but it’s never even come close.
You could use another creamy like dressing I’m sure. Like parmigiana Italian type.
Or add mayo and sprinkle parmigiana on it.

Oh wow, did it hit home when you said you never know how many people will be home for dinner and trying to gauge having enough without wasting leftovers. My husband and I are navigating this right now as we have four children, three of whom are young adults, one of which has his own home but pops by for dinner occasionally…so I never know if it’s just going to be three of us or all six of us. Love chuck roast! Since there’s only 2 of us. My leftovers are for shepherds pie, stew or tacos! Or the gravy and roast goes into the freezer for an easy meal!

Anytime I do a grilled sandwich with cheese, I put it in the microwave and get the cheese started melting first. Then I don't have to worry about the bread burning before the cheese melts..... and it's ready to eat quicker, too! 😊
Hi Mel! I can't do blue cheese.. I just can't. Lol! Would definitely try it with ranch or even Caesar dressing. Those cheeseburger sliders and roast look so good! I love using Panko breadcrumbs. Yummy recipes, Mel - I especially love the Honey Dijon ones. That bread looks delish, but I rarely use or buy blue cheese, I think I'd use Goat Cheese since its pungeant but still something I could use in other recipes. Overall an excellent episode! Thank u so much! ❤

I really like the fact that you show small amounts. I have an instant pot and really can't figure out how to use it well for one person. I think my problem is that I want to be super lazy and put cans of X, Y, Z, a cup of rice, 2 cups of water and have dinner ready in 30 minutes. 😂

If you spray lightly the inside of your measuring cup, your honey will just fall out into your bowl. No waste or waiting for it to drip out

The Beach Bread was great! I live on the 'other' side of Florida and have never heard of it! Had some Blue Cheese dressing hanging around the fridge that needed using up and all the other ingredients on hand. Finally made it tonight in my toaster over, made some space in my fridge and had a great side to some stir fry (I know, weird combo, but meant to make last night and plans changed). Book marking this! Thank you!

I am at the roast part but everything has honey or sugar. Can we not add all the sugar? Asian recipes have a lot of sugar as well but I can’t eat that much sugar.

I love blue cheese on wings and salads but only a little.
I cut a large size yogurt container , cut off the bottom and slce one side fits into qrt or gallon bags👍none of thos stick things for me lol😂

Mel that first recipe looks like the super good French bread that Bahama Breeze would have on the menu. They may have used Mayo instead of blue cheese but I only ever saw it at that restaurant. ✅

Cooked beef roast freezes very well.
Everything looks so good. I do not like blue cheese, would have to use ranch. I went to a salad bar one time and they had mixed up the ranch the blue cheese dressing, me and my husband told them the ranch dressing was bad. They come back and told use we could make a new salad they had found the cause of the mistake. It was a new employee setting up salad bar. I last one of my sheet pans a few months ago, I looked everywhere for it. A week later went to deep freezer and there it was with packs of chicken on it😂😂😂

On your bread I have made something like that only thing different is I grilled a couple thin chicken and slice add to top. Of the bread.great to recipes.

It's ny NYX the color is called Entice, and it's a lip oil and I use the cheapest clear gloss I can find over top of it.
