All the mowers from this company are only worth it if you can get them for less than $200. Right now this mower is $197 at Walmart so that's why I'm watching this video. I'm pretty handy so I'm not afraid of minor issues and repairs out of the box. Loctite will take care of the loose bolts issue. I'm guessing that white smoke is just whatever coating is on the engine itself burning off. I do worry about that dipstick popping out from vibration while running though.
@@TurnTheStoveOnBlaze It's in the garage. I'm going to try cleaning the fuel line and carburetor. It's floods easily after a couple of min and it doesn't have a fuel regulator screw. Cost saving by the manufacturer I guess.
Even the American companies like Briggs and Stratton have their engines made in China. My 2022 toro recycler says it’s made in Mexico. In terms of American made, for engine or assembly Honda America may be your best company for residential mowers. Usually You get what you pay for with these.

To be completely honest after burning off all the excess oil this lawn mowers become relatively reliable.

Did you have any issues adjusting the blade? Mine won’t stick to anything above 1 😢
Seems like most snowblowers have Chinese engines these days. People speak highly of those Predator engines sold at Harbor Freight stores.
How do you change the oil? The manual didn't explain that and thx
