Thank you so much everyone for taking part in this build! It's always so impressive to see what yous all build. There will be another build this Saturday on the New Earth server, and as ever you can find all the login information in the video description
I love how RT chooses not to do anything about the clouds only for it to immediately come back to bite his ass when he builds in the ONE level that has the clouds.
Fun fact: A lot of cyberpunk concepts were taken from how Hong Kong looked a few decades ago (and still does!) Hong Kong is literally the blueprint of a YA Dystopian city. Lmao.
It’s part of RTGame Law that on his Minecraft Build Streams, it’s required someone makes an Among Us build, even if that means making a religious shrine of it on the 34th Floor
RTGame law actually specifically states that the 34th floor of any 34+ story building must be dedicated to Among Us. Look up "Among Us rule 34" for more details.
As someone whose parents are from Hong Kong, this would be an entirely accurate representation of Hong Kong, but the plots are too large. (Edit: Other comments point it out, but it is incredible how dedicated this community is and how much detail goes into each floor. I just wanted to make a sassy remark on the state of the housing market in Hong Kong.)
I’ve been to Hong Kong since I still have family there, and it’s very akin to NYC or other major metropolises where rent costs an arm and a leg and you get maybe a bedroom at best.
It's funny that Dan is grateful for his community not being extremely destructive on his servers, but that's probably because they are satisfied with the destruction in his other series like the city skylines one lol.

Here's a word for you: "arcology." It's a combination of "architecture" and "ecology," the study of how buildings and the environment can interact and benefit one another. I was reminded of it from your comments about building natural vistas in the plots.
Arcology is also used as the name for superstructures built under the same principles you outlined, common in sci fi works. Most interpretations of arcologies rely on dense urban spaces with a high focus on verticality and recycling+ renewables to allow for dense human habitation with minimal impact on the surrounding ecosystem.
As someone from Hong Kong, I can say this build is extremely accurate! Even the plot size for each store/house (the rent is crazy expensive) One funny thing is that the "prison complex" is actually real, it's called 籠屋 ("caged house"), where were force people live in "cages" due to those being cheaper to rent
I don't know how you guys do it with those tiny apartments and bustling streets. Hong Kong is this hyper dense, expensive and fast-paced metropolis, whereas where I live there's just space. Space everywhere, and so much that noone knows what to do with it all but grow vast swaths of corn and soy. Even the city itself here has multiple layers of open space underground, back since the raising in the 1850s. Honestly, I just think it's neat that we all can live in practically different worlds, and yet many people can now relate to the same small videos and experiences thanks to the internet.
@@linkly9272 Another Hong Kong person here! I don’t know how you guys do it with so much space- I grew up in dense areas, spending most of my time in the streets or traveling through a mall just to avoid the hot summer heat. Just google some pictures of HK and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Beyond the concrete jungle is dense, mountainous forests. The hundreds of islands in HK are barely any different too. I’m not used to having much space- it makes me scared, weirdly. I like being in enclosed spaces because that’s how it’s been all my life. It makes me feel safe. 10:17 Actually, fume hoods are used in actual labs! There are many chemicals (im assuming thats what he meant by the "fun" ones.) that release horrendously toxic gasses into the air when reacting with other chemicals. Some hurt, some cause permanent damage, others just kill you.
I’m so glad to see Hong Kong represented!! As a Hong Konger myself, it’s not very often that HK gets a specific spotlight :D. Fun fact: HK is the original inspiration for a lot of early cyberpunk! The highway system mixed with high-rises, often going over and interweaving with roads was very unique in terms of cities (though now other Asian cities are also like that), so it inspired early writers of the genre!
3:38 This is indeed a very wholesome Minecraft server, but I would like to argue in there defense of coc n' ballz, Spiff(the Canadian one) made it work quite harmonically to the point of cylinderical and spherical beauty
To add to the comment made at 12:01 on the right sign, the Among Ass plot was directly in front of a strip club (which sadly could not make it on this video).
Glad to see the builds coming back more and more. The sheer creativity always blows me away to the point I want to binge the series again. Hats off to the community for being so damn amazing with the ideas and builds
I havne't watched one of these in a long time. I'm surprised you still do the Minecraft community builds thing like this. It hasn't grown stale, the community is still engaged. Truly wonderful to see the format still thriving!
There was a Kowloon Walled City, where houses and all kinds of structures were stacked in the tightest way possible due to a administrative loophole between the UK and China. The plot of land basically became a no man’s land for both governments, and the local triads moved in, along with a lot of the “peripheral” industries. From a distance, it literally looks like a solid block of building mass. The building (district) was demolished by the British government shortly before their handing over of Hong Kong.
I think that RT’s wonderful and heartwarming personality allows for these builds to exist, I know I’d love to have RT see my build and say something in his wonderful Irish voice, something nice, like “this sucks, and I’m Irish” I think I might get back into Minecraft to join some of these streams.

But then humans found the fruit useful and the tree pleasing so we are the reason why its everywhere and basically not gone
as a hong konger i can confirm that this is *almost* exactly what the city looks like, if it wasn’t for the fact that the floor space is approximately five times too big.

The amazing cohesion of the community in creating these structures is astounding, especially given the track record of other 'community build sessions' like you mentioned. On an unrelated note, you should check out the game Disco Elysium someday. It's got a great story and really creative mechanics, as well as a unique and very pleasing art style.
Weird tangent brought up by "Zelda's House" but: To me Tears of the Kingdom isn't the true Sequel, it's Changed to be welcoming to new players, like a corrupted version where no one remembers you except for those needed in the plot, i know that if Botw was like, an MMO RPG that's just gotten updated for years, having the story continue, it would be very different.

as a hong konger i can confirm that this is *almost* exactly what the city looks like, if it wasn’t for the fact that the floor space is approximately five times too big.
as a hker all i can say is a skyscraper is an extremely accurate representation of us, we all live in extremly depressing appartment in relativly tall building.
Seeing Ross Bob's name come up made me realize how long it's been since RT has done any Sims. I hope that Life By You game is on his radar
I really love these minecraft build videos, theyre so sweet.
That single frame of suletta before the transition at 9:15 is actually haunting
1:29 "Come to the cloud district often?"
“Slay mine ho” -Rtgame 2023
Twitch viewers need to make sure this follows him for at least 2 more streams.
13:23 I love the Kirby 😂
Anyone: does anything
RTGame: Ah bless ya
4:30 really didn’t expect to start crying in the middle of this video
Bwomp
It made me really happy to see too.
Crying over that is kinda sad in a whole different way. Grow up.
@@MoonCowGaming You're ignorant and it's shameful.
Honestly, this was one of the most wholesome minecraft build streams, lots of nature, people working together, good jokes, a really great mood overall, I'm happy these streams are still going, they are really fun to watch and make me hopeful for the future. Thank you RT and the community :)
Nothing more Aussie then working together on 3 vertical plots just to make a bottle of VB
I’ve been part of this community for ten years now and the first thing you’ve got to know is… RT loves F1 spoilers. Especially on Minecraft. So avoid him and F1 at all costs other wise you’ll never like ‘Drive to Survive’ ever again! You’ve been warned!
I want a "Slay Mine Hoe" version of the "Live Laugh Love" decal
The amazing cohesion of the community in creating these structures is astounding, especially given the track record of other 'community build sessions' like you mentioned. On an unrelated note, you should check out the game Disco Elysium someday. It's got a great story and really creative mechanics, as well as a unique and very pleasing art style.

>evil incorporated
>pan flag
Said the quiet part out loud, did you now?
i love RT cuz for how cursed he is he has a very wholesome community
As a Hong Konger, this is a 99% accurate representation of my "country"
Also holy hell the map in the intro actually looks so good
I read the first two volumes of this series about a year ago and it's really good, I'm glad it's getting an anime
RT, unironically you are the UA-camr I can come back to and either listen or watch along with all your videos
I've not played Minecraft and rarely watch any Minecraft content but I always find time for your community builds. Fabulous stuff :)
Seeing myself in the Video is just as weird as it was during the Stream being RT's Neighbour
Also I somehow didn't realise I misspelt my own username
I love how that one person decided the best thing to do was to spoil the race lmao
Bro really looked at average chemistry classroom and said drug lab 10:22
absolutely losing my marbles at "what about Slay, Mine, Hoe". I want this on a shirt or on my wall or something omg
That F1 fan, though... doesn't matter when I watch this video "Max Verstappen won again" is always relevant.
4:56 I love how he managed to slip with the one f bomb but still censored the two words sandwiching it
4:39 That's me :)
Oooo I wonder if my ant farm made it in here
Edit: it did not D:
It was on the same floor as the frog sanctuary, so glad to see that tho!
9:11 that cut was like a jump scare
